1. Stairway to Heaven 2. Kashmir 3. Over the Hills and Far Away 4. D'yer Mak'er 5. Going to California 6. All My Love 7. No Quarter 8. Immigrant Song 9. Whole Lotta Love 10. Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You
Holy shit, I don't think I saw D'yer Mak'er on another list.
It's probably my least favorite Zeppelin song and one, along with Stairway to Heaven, that I'm most likely to turn off or skip if it comes on the radio or a playlist. It's an interruption when I'm listening to Houses of the Holy too because the rest of the album is so great. Zebra's version of The Ocean is probably technically better guitar work (Randy Jackson) than Jimmy Page.
Haha. I love that fucking song. It's a stylistic tribute to James Brown.
It's so different than anything else they did on any of the albums. The 5/4 time signature is great and it's in a weird key (A major or something close to that). I was just never sure who plant was talking about - Let me tell you bout my good thing, I ain't disclosing no names but, he sure is a good friend and I ain't gonna tell you where he comes from no, if I tell you you won't come again.

idk that song always annoyed me.
That's D'yer Mak'er to me. It's just a funk song which they didn't do that many of and like I said, they did it as a tribute to James Brown. I guess the other funk songs that I can think of they did are Royal Orleans (which made my Top 10 because it's a tribute to my home city and I love presence) and maybe Hots on for Nowhere also on Presence.

Alright ya'll this is my jams so I gotta give some feedback for the whys
1. Reunion 2. Lower Your Eyelids to Die With the Sun 3. Midnight City 4. Gone 5. We Own the Sky 6. Steve McQueen 7. Teen Angst 8. Outro 9. Couleurs 10. Carresses
A lot I had to leave out so this was tough. Reunion is somewhat of a homer pick because it's my favorite song. Personally, I just think it's a perfect song. It tells a story, you can dance to it, it has emotional meaning. Just perfect. LYETDWTS is the quintessential M83 song. I think it really defines what they are and Anthony at his best, despite no lyrics. Obviously Midnight City is the poster for the band, but really is a good song. Gone to me is like LYETDWTS but a different chapter. Outro has been in like half a dozen movies and commercials so it gets kinda tiring but definitely slaps. I decided to add Carresses at the end. It's a strange song but I like it. It's apparently taken from a 50's(?) horror story. Very unique song.
EDIT- I really hated leaving out Wait, that would be my #11.
MY FAV BAND YALL
Also since I'm out of the queue, I'll request OASIS next.

1. Moonchild 2. Kim and Jessie 3. Skin of the Night 4. Don't Save Us from the Flames 5. Midnight City 6. Graveyard Girl 7. A Guitar and a Heart 8. Splendor 9. Oblivion 10. Run into Flowers
I wanted to be inclusive and throw in something from "Junk", but it didn't happen. The "Before the Dawn/Saturdays/Hurry Up" run is just too stacked. Can we get another proper album already, Anthony? The Digital Shades stuff doesn't count!

1)Midnight City 2)Intro 3)Do It Try It 4)Go 5)Outro 6)Steve McQueen 7)Reunion 8)My Tears Are becoming the Sea 9)Oblivion 10)Time Wind
I know I'm gonna be in the minority, but I positively adore Junk. Was I think my number 3 album that year. I think its just full of bops. But also Hurry Up, We're Dreaming is one of the few albums from the last twenty year that is top to bottom perfect. Not 100% my taste all the time, but its such a great listening experience, especially when played loud.

IDK how Nominations work, but can I nominate Sigur Ros for a week?
Yeah, they pretty much work exactly like that. Only rule is you can't nominate again Sigur Ros week is finished, just so everyone gets a turn who wants one
