I guess this should be the time I finally listen to VU.
Sometimes I feel bad for all the ridicule you get on here, so thanks for lmk it's justified.
Some things fall through the cracks. I’ve heard some of these songs but I’ve never listened to an album. I think with most old bands that I missed a tour or something will come up and I’ll listen to them then. That obviously hasn’t happened with them.

i went through this phase circa 2015 when i lived in DC where my gym was about a 10 minute walk from my house, and i often listened to Raconte Moi while walking to or from the gym. it put a pep in my step but obviously isn't quite the jam for MID workout lol

I find the lack of love for “Sister Ray” in this thread depressing.
when I saw John Cale & the Black Angels on a bill, they did Sister Ray together as an encore after John. only VU song he played in his set was Waiting for the Man, but he also didn't have his viola at all but it was outdoors and very cold
