Saw this person named underscores open for Gecs in Houston and this cover of Hella Good was the highlight of the night. Wish there was a studio version but I don't think there is.

Dale Cooper am curious - do you know your regina #1 off the top of your head? i really don't know how to decide for that spot, i just have so much regina nostalgia

My brain says Samson, because that's probably her most complete touching song. But my heart says Carbon Monoxide or Ghost of Corporate Future (or Summer in the City, I forgot how much I love this), because they've meant a lot to me over the years.
Basically, I just listed my likely top 4, so sorry if that isn't helpful, lol.
I just bought Soviet Kitsch on vinyl and I love basically every song.

Samson is perfect.
i think my heart says Carbon Monoxide too though...ugh or Chemo Limo. Braille slays me too. and obviously I love love "Us" since that's where my username comes from

Now I’m not the only to include Let Me Blow Ya Mind.

see, i need time to think on this hahaha.
I was like, when did she say Cumdawg Millionaire? But then I looked at your profile.
I actually liked her last album quite a lot, and she does a great cover of No Surprises. Basically, there's a lot to love.
I guess this ended up being mostly Gwen solo songs, but whatever, it's my nomination, I can do what I want

So random this popped up. Just saw her perform with the LA Phil so thats fresh in my mind still. She did waste 5 mins by doing that Blake Shelton duet. And it was interesting since all the songs were with an orchestra and not the band, Hollaback girl has both the USC and UCLA marching bands so what was fun. she went for it by staring with Dont Speak, too.
for folks who don't know Regina well, i highly recommend you checking out Soviet Kitsch & Begin to Hope, as well as her earlier albums of 11:11 (or at least the tracks "Back of a Truck" and "Braille") and Songs(or at least the tracks "Oedipus," "Prisoners" and both "Ne Me Quitte Pas" & "Samson" but alt versions of them are on later albums)
Unfortunately though the first two albums are not on Spotify but are accessible on YT.

I only got into Regina Spektor to try to impress a girl in college who listened to her. It didn't work. I also haven't listened to Regina much since then, so I apologize if this list feels dated:
1. Us 2. Your Honor 3. Eet 4. Chemo Limo 5. Samson 6. All the Rowboats 7. Fidelity 8. Laughing With 9. On the Radio 10. Hotel Song
1. Ghost of Corporate Future 2. Us 3. Fidelity 4. Two Birds 5. Poor Little Rich Boy 6. Small Bill$ 7. On the Radio 8. Bleeding Heart 9. Love, You're a Whore 10. Chemo Limo
I enjoy her Kubo and Two Strings cover of While My Guitar Gently Weeps also, but didn't feel right to include it here.
Only time I saw her live was at Bonnaroo 2007. She was so high she forgot the lyrics to like half her songs.
