It’ll take some restraint not to just submit the Soft Bulletin track list as my entry for the Lips. One of my favorite records of all timez.
My list is almost done and it had a startling low amount of SB. But then sure enough I went for a relisten and trying to think of what I want to dump to include more of it.

Mystics is awesome. It may not be as awe-inspiring as Soft Bulletin or Yoshimi but the highs are really high. Sound of Failure, Pompeii, and Vein of Stars are amazing tunes. Especially loved the laser pointer thing they'd do during Vein of Stars live.

Did anyone else catch the The Terror tour? My wife and I were just talking about it last night. I really enjoy the "kids' birthday party on acid" vibe of the typical FLips show and I'm glad that's the norm, but I'm also really glad we got to see them doing something completely different that time around.

Yep. Saw them in Seoul in 2013. It was a very different vibe from their UFO show from the mid 2000s. Still such a spectacle, but I know it was a dark time for Wayne. That whole album is acid nightmare vibes.

1) Race For The Prize 2) Do You Realize 3) Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots 4) The W.A.N.D. 5) All We Have Is Now 6) Spoonful Weighs A Ton 7) Waiting for Superman 8)The Yeah Yeah Yeah Song 9)Thank You Jack White (For the Fiber-Optic Jesus That You Gave Me) 10)Will You Return/When You Come Down
My answer for this one changes all the time as this band has scored the last 15 years of my life, so I just kind of picked songs with meaning to me. If you deny the flawlessness of Race, Do You, and Yoshimi, you need to get over yourself. Yes they're main stream, but there's a reason for that.

I agree! Maybe I’m basic for putting “Do You Realize??” as my #1, but it is one of the most beautiful songs by anyone ever.

They're closing with it now, and its still just as excellent. Everyone walks out with an even bigger smile than they already were if that's possible

I'm gonna try to listen to more Flips this week to nail down a top ten, but I gotta ask, has anyone ever listened to Zaireeka as intended? Me and some buddies did back in college a couple times, by bringing multiple stereos to one place, it's a really interesting experience. Of course, the copious amount of weed helped

I always sing along to Do You Realize?? and it always leaves a lump in my throat. Such a beautiful yet astoundingly simple song on life. There are a lot of other FLips songs I wanted to include, but there was no way I could bump that one.

Side note: I am a first time participant, so I just want to declare that the best Radiohead song is Motion Picture Soundtrack.
