Besides that, I can’t really think of another legacy HL, maybe Massive. But fully expecting another top to bottom slam dunk as they always do.
I was talking to a friend last night. He's more of a day pass to festivals on rare occasions, so he isn't totally familiar with how they work. He had noticed some festivals sold tickets before the lineup was announced and asked if that was every festival. I told him it depended and ones that did generally had a track record. I used Primavera as an example bc, at the time I bought passes and decided I was going to spend a few thousand on the trip, I had zero idea who was going to be on the lineup for 2025. Every lineup since I have been following the festival is so full of heaters that I felt like it's safe to go for it.

Hi, long time reader, new to the boards. I have seen speculation that The XX will be releasing new music and might play festivals in 2025. But I’m surprised that other festival threads have them projected as subs.
If they play Primavera, I would imagine they would be booked as headliners, right? Just wanted to know where you guys stood on how The XX might be booked.

The xx headlined in 2017 and I imagine they’d do the same if they came back next year.

Top line. Top two lines could be considered headliners, probably. Term fairly loose, but artists that play main stages at night (though not necessarily).

I think I sufficiently talked Mrs. Fitter Happier into Porto. Hopefully Twigs actually shows up this time. Give me some combination of Robyn, LCD, The Cure, My Blood Valentine, Bon Iver, Big Thief, The xx, NIN, Lorde. MJ Lenderman and The Dare are a huge start.
