That whole thread is great cuz it starts off claiming Charli is a racist and then later it's like "and also she's a pick me!"
im as woke mob as woke mob can be but that entire thing is a crock of shit lol. her treatment of rina was shitty but its just another thread of swifties being hypocrites

I’m less concerned about all that woke bullshit, and far more concerned about the fact that she tried to break Taylor Swift and Matty Healy up so that she could enjoy 1975 shows in peace.
Brat’s really good (top 25 of the year so far for sure), but I think it’s being overhyped. Charli is the album of hers that should’ve got this sort of critical acclaim. Similar excellent production, but I feel like the vocal performances on Charli were a lot more dynamic and the song structures were a lot less straightforward. Plus all the excellent features on it.
I agree. Charli and how I’m feeling now are my favorites. The last 2 albums are fun but not as good.
I agree that Charli deserves more love, but HIFN is the album of hers which I think gets overhyped. Some great moments but overall not my fav. I’ve always put True Romance at the top of my rankings for her but brat finally tops it, for me. I liked Crash a lot too though.
Even if you think brat isn’t as good as her prior records, it’s nuts how many really good records she has put out. I know she’s having a moment right now but she still feels underrated.

S Tier: How I’m Feeling Now, Charli, Brat A Tier: Pop 2 B Tier: Vroom EP C Tier: No 1 Angel, Crash
With Brat being her third S Tier album, she gets serious looks at Bjork and Kate Bush as my favorite female artist ever.
Still have trouble ranking the top 3 as they are all very different. I think they are all basically 9/10. Charli would have been a 10 if she made the last 3 songs bonus tracks and held on to Focus and swapped it in for Blame it on your love. Brat would be a 10 if she took off Rewind and I think about it and slotted Guess or Spring Breakers in at #2 before club classics. HIFN has no path to being a 10 but feels like it capture a single vibe / moment in time better than the others and has the highest highs of any of the 3.

Crash is better than that. Brat would be great if she cut 3 of the songs and replaced them with the bonus tracks. I think hello goodbye might be my favorite.

idk man I listened to all of them on the drive from Knoxville to Jax on Sunday and I still think Crash is her most lifeless album. Many songs sound like any random pop star could have made it. And some of her worst songs too imo. Every Rule, Yuck (holy shit such an embarrassing Dua impersonation) and Twice. Legitimately was so happy to get a pallat cleanser with Pink Diamond after this was done (we went in reverse order).
The only reason I didnt go D is because it is a good, normal pop album with 3-4 bangers.
