I just feel like there weren't that many other shows that everyone was like blown away by how good it was. Like I'm looking at the lineup and don't know what should be 1 instead since we already did Parcels and Fred.
Fred would be my personal #1, but for this survivor based on what is left to choose from i'd go PL Thurs night. i am def in the minority that i felt the Parcels show was pretty mid, way too slow for what i needed at that moment. Roisin was a really fun and unique set, but i wouldn't put her as my #1 (#3 feels very appropriate, which is what i'm voting). i fucked up and didn't realize Chappell got moved to 3pm (thanks bonnaroo for not updating the app or printed schedules!!!!!!) but i'm sure if i made her set i'd have a different opinion.
My #1 of the weekend. I only started listening a few weeks before but I immediately couldn't believe that was an act that bonnaroo booked in 2024. The band was sick, the production was intense and tasteful, and Roisin as a performer was just incredible. Being able to dance that hard while also taking in the performance on stage was a pretty unique experience, and I was just floored. Overpowered. #1
She was my wife's favorite at Primavera. She kept asking, "who's mom is this?" What a killer band.

Disappointed I didn't get to say hello, but perhaps next year. I understand where you're coming from with this but have a different take. I went in 98% blind just hoping it would be good. I had been mostly on break since we skipped Red Hot Chili Peppers but stayed in Centeroo. It was on the chiller side (in parts), but I thought there were a lot of changes in tempo, styles and types of music they played throughout the set that set it a little bit apart. It wasn't super complex or anything, but they wove their way in and out of various different types of music including some decent jazz along the way. And they were clearly talented. Based on limited exposure, I didn't think it was going to knock me out like how many other people felt about it going in. But I still enjoyed it before leaving about 10 minutes before the end to go catch the last 25 or so of Idles. It didn't make my Top 10, but I had it as an HM. It was interesting enough to me to determine that I'd see them again at a festival and probably be more prepared for what they would be doing. I felt like the show (for me anyway) was probably better suited to 8/9/9:30 or something in the evening before the headliner. Not everyone would agree with that, but that's my take anyway.
