Woke this morning about 10:13 Six pack of stout a stick of sensi Woke this morning about 10:13 Six pack of stout a stick of sensi Woke this morning what do I see I'm tagged in the Rock/Metal/Punk Draft III thread
i bought Songs For The Deaf before I ever heard it. so the first QOTSA song I heard was "You Think I Ain't Worth A Dollar, But I Feel Like A Millionaire". pummelled with this loud wall of sound and screeching screaming vocals. i was like hell yeah. but then the rest of the songs are more groovy and bluesy with generally cleaner vocals. and it's very good! i like QOTSA. but i was craving that absolute blast of heat and rage i got from that first listen and HOLY SHIT I AM JUST NOW REALIZING YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT SPIRITBOX AND I AM TALKING ABOUT SPIRITWORLD. DOES THAT MAKE MORE SENSE?
lol i stopped mid typing and searched Spiritbox on spotify.
anyway Spiritworld is what i wanted QOTSA to be. loud abrasive thrashy hot desert metal. but now i have both so it's all good.
