So here is one of my five babies. A friend rescues cats. A litter of 6 was left in a tree by their momma and then she got killed. Two died before they were rescued. One died in the night. We agreed to take the two girls. This little fella almost died. We rushed him to the vet and he weighed half a pound. They didn't think he would make it. But he did. So we agreed to take him too.
No regrets.

She was food insecure when we got her. Had to be separated from everyone when she ate. A food bully. She is better now, but we have to watch her.
Tyger needs to eat his alone. He used to speed eat, then he realized he could eat at his leisure, but Maya and now Leeloo, will go and eat his leftovers.
So I let them eat separately and am training her to leave his alone.
Cats don't narc you out when you are carrying at the airport or Bonnaroo. Cats don't run after bikes and try to bite you. Cats don't bark and keep up the neighbors. Cats respect your personal space.
You got to be crazy. You got to have a real need. You got to sleep on your toes. And when you're on the street, you've got to be able to pick up the easy meat with your eyes closed. And then moving in silently downwind and out of sight. You've got to strike when the moment is right without thinking. And after a while, you can work on points for style. Like a club tie, a firm handshake, a certain look in the eye and an easy smile. You'll have to be trusted by the people that you lied to, so that when they turn their backs on you you'll get the chance to put the knife in. \m/
Yeah, guess what it does. Sits on the desk and look cute. Doesn't do shit. And I have had a lot of cats. Never had one eat it's on poop. Now puke is another matter.
