Think 8 or 9 would have been the sweet spot for Texas.
Yeah 8 would have been fine. Putting it behind Georgia and Florida is goofy but whatever. Obviously these lists have a reputation.
I'm honestly not a big fan of the other cities outside of Houston. I think Austin kinda sucks/the people there are way too far up their own ass. But it's a big state with a lot going on. You'd all have a killer time visiting. The food here whips ass.

Texas food is top 5. It’s too damn hot though. The cities are fine but not particularly interesting. I’ve always wanted to go to Big Bend. Some top tier inforooers live in Texas. My MAGA cousins live there but they aren’t so bad. I’ve probably spent more time in Texas than any state I haven’t lived in. Virginia is up there too. I think #11 is fair.
