Depends on the douchebag I was supposed to be taking with me.
Hah, karma for making me laugh with that blunt statement
Thanks. haha...yeah as of right now he deserves a blunt kick in the face. But I guess not giving him his ticket will do. I'm not going to let the fact that he decided to get a girlfriend ruin my good time.
i know alot of douches. we had like 15 people going and we are down to 4 now. it happens every year. oh well. if they only knew what they were misiing.

Actually, I deserve the blunt. He just gets the kick in the face

Well this has to do with the girlfriend not liking me and basically causing such a fuss that he kind of said "sorry I can't go"
Wow, sounds like my best friend Natalie, and her not being able to go because her boyfriend hates me. But you know, I'm only her best friend, that's no big deal. It doesn't matter, two of our close friends decided to join the festivies recently, and now she's pissed at her boyfriend who told her not to go. Looks like my case is working...
I'd suggest you ladies join us in the big tent only campout not just for safety but enjoyablity reasons- I'm sure you'll find some cool people to hang out with!
oh yeah i'm super excited about the tent only group! just ended up talking to two girls who are also flying in solo so we're trying to coordinate stuff we're bringing since you can't fit all that much on the plane, and being alone its nice to have others nearby

First off, I should say hi. ;D I've been reading these forums for a while, but today's my first time posting.
Anyhow, I know the feeling. The douchebag I've been "dating" somewhat casually since January was all about going back in March. About a month ago when I brought the topic back up, he said he would love to go but doesn't think he can get off of work.
Since then I've met a couple of other people who will be going, but they are driving out and I don't know if I will realistically be able to find them and camp by them (since they will probably camp by their car), so it looks like I am in the same boat as the rest of you soloroo girls. I'd love to try to meet up (even if I do manage to find my other friends and camp by them).
Lucid Interval, I know the feeling about having people bail on you every summer. That's happened to me everytime I've tried to make plans to go to a festival, which is why I haven't been to one yet. This year I decided to screw it and go even if I have to go solo.
I'd love to learn more about plans for soloroo females to meet up. Feel free to PM me.
I'm going with my younger sister. She's only 17....she hasn't been to many concerts or any festivals. I think we are going to stick with camping by the car. I wanted my husband to go... to have a man around for safety and ingenuity...but he's got to stay home and watch our 3 kids. I'm hoping to find the Inforoo camp so I can meet most of you anyway...even if I'm not camping out there. I'm also hoping most people will be helpful and friendly since we will be 2....(not very experienced to festivals)....girls at our first Roo. Yikes..it's getting so close...I'm so damn excited!

nah..all the guys on here are pefrect gentlemen..in fact i have never even been in this thread..oops!..forget i just typed that...carry on "solo girls"..
What time are people getting into to Nashville? Turns out I mis-remembered my flight info and will be arriving at 3:45pm. Just wondering if I will be seeing any of you on the shuttle. Looks like I'm probably just going to miss the 4pm shuttle, so I'll probably be stuck chilling in the airport until the 6pm one rolls around.
i am interested in meeting up. a bunch of my friends were going and bailed, so now i am going with a group of peeps that are all couples. fun.
Is there a plan for a meetup??
taraann, what part of the NJ shore are you from? I lived in Forked River for years before moving to MD.
Hey... we're gonna be meeting up on Thursday (time depending on when each person arrives) but the first to arrive, me and Crystal (on the shuttle leaving 10 am-ish hopefully), are gonna stake out a spot for the girls withing the larger inforoo camping area. We coordianted stuff we're bringing since we're all flying and can't carry that much, and plus it's nice to have other solo girls camping around you within the larger group, especially since most are first-timers (I think I'm the lone vet).
You're more than welcome to stop by of course, if you want to actually ditch the couples and have us save you a spot just let me know.
And my parent's house now is in Jackson now, but I'm actually up in CT at the moment till August (well, except weekends when I go home to hit the beach! ) I usually head to Sea Girt cause it's low-key there, even though it's a little further from the house. Forked River must have been sweet cause your closer to the southern Jersey beaches! Much better

I'm originally a north Jersey girl, and I can't say that I've ventured to many of the South Jersey beaches. But, you can't good trashy times to had at places like Sleeze-Side (aka Seaside Heights). Pt. Pleasant and Belmar are also favorites (but a little too high brow by comparison haha).
Anyhow, just wanted to say hi to Carleyanne! It's good to hear another girl is joining our group.
