I'm actually glad to live in Chicago and having like 7 or 8 dollar packs of smokes. It helped me quit and save close to $50 a week which could go towards other things...............

I'm with ya. my occasional smoking went to zero, which is the amount it should have been anyway. It somehow seemed like less of a bad idea when they were cheap.
I don't smoke, but Camel has people going around bars in town giving out fre packs and they always stop at the bar I work at. So i'm gonna stock up before Roo and sell or trade them.

Living outside of NYC led me to start rolling my own damn smokes... I tell you, it's the way to go, and you can even get filters for it. Asides from saving a few bucks, I'm not paying phillip morris and all that other commercial garbage.

You also arent sucking down as many chemicals when you roll your own. I dont smoke, but as i said, il be selling them this year. Probably the easiest thing to make a buck off of at bonnaroo.
Helpful tip. Go to the American Spirit tent and load up on smokes. When a "friend" comes by looking to bum a smoke, give 'em an American Spirit. I've been there and needed smokes, and an American Spirit, I'd not turn down. The person bumming won't complain.
So what's the word as far as American Spirits go? Do they just give them out for free? I'm a big spirit fan, and wouldn't mind not having to buy 4 or 5 packs for the weekend.

I sold smokes last year, Marlboro Lights for 5 bucks a pack. I got rid of 5 cartons and didn't miss a single show I wanted to see. The key was to walk around in the morning, especially Saturday and Sunday and to stand on corners in shakedown. Sales were kinda slow until Sat. But if I had another 3 cartons I could easily have sold those on Sunday.
I guess my luncg like the chemicals in the Marlboros because after smoking the American Spirits 1/2 the weekend - I was hacking and coughing on the way home (Of course, that could have just been the "roo cough)
Cigarettes really are like gold at Roo. Someone selling 27's saved our life last year on Sunday. That is one thing we wanted to see more of...people selling the 27's.

I think they are supposed to give out 1 pack per visit, but me and some guy ahead of me asked nicely, and got 3 different kinds (regular, light, and organic, i think) and the line was only like a minute or 2, if you really tried hard, you could probably get like 20 packs through the weekend, but I had some other concerns besides free smokes.

well, i figure I'll have a pack in the car that I'll kill Thurs night, so three packs one for Fri, Sat, Sun would be fine. I'll get some of my Camel smoking friends to get in line with me.

Hi everyone... I work in a tobacco store in mississippi and we have some of the cheapest prices in the US according to Phillip Morris... We have every brand of cig you could imagine... even cartons for 9.99! Our Marlboros run around 27.50 per carton... We have deals weekly on pretty much everything... 3 pack marlboro deals for 6.50! Anybody that needs some from me I can pick some up on the way and get in touch to help u guys out! Also for the dippers we have 2 can Skoal and cope deals for 5.29 for 2 cans!
