....How dark the porta potty's can be at night! Bring a headlamp/flashlight and while on the subject, bring a port a potty care kit! Include hand sani, wet wipes, and toilet paper, anything else you might need (or someone else for that matter), put it in a ziploc and keep it in your pack to use through the day.
Don't carry your wallet in your back pocket (at least I think this is important). My first year had 200 in my wallet, got crowd surfed at Kendrick and lost my wallet. Say goodbye to all my money for the weekend on the very first day!!!

That quakin' sucks. More importantly, don't carry all of your money with you if you have a car. can't speak for tent only folks though. I carry <$50 a day and stash the other cash in different areas.

Yeah I learned the next year for sure and had a much better weekend, hopefully nothing horrible goes wrong like that this year haha
