Hey there Bonnaroo regulars,
Me and Mrs GreenDrops are travelling over from the UK for this years Bonnaroo. So, anything we need to know? What's the food like and how much cash are we likely to need? Is the camping area within the rest of the festival (some UK festivals lock up at midnight and everyone has to go back to the tent area)? Are we likely to need anything except tent & clothes? What's the weather like? Where are the best places to camp?
It's a similar vibe to Glastonbury (you'll get rain, but not so much). Flow between camping and Centeroo (the main festival area) is open 24 hours. Most get a camp spot right by their cars, though you can carry your gear to a camping only area much closer to Centeroo. Beyond that, you won't get a choice on where to camp, you'll be directed as you enter. You'll find a ton of food choices, allow $6-8 per meal. It's a lot hotter than you'll be used to, drink lots of water or Gatorade and pace yourself.
If you don't plan to rent a car, I strongly recommend the official shuttle from Nashville airport, it drops you right at the camping only area and bypasses all the long queues.
I lived in Cheltenham for 10 years, give my regards to the Rotunda...

Hey Mac,
Thanks for all that! We live on Montpellier Terrace - can see the Rotunda if we lean out of our window!! Going to Glasto this year too - as long as we get tickets - so will have 2 days to get back from Roo on time! It's gonna be a crazy couple of weeks!
