Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I think the volunteers have a seperate area apart from the tent only GA people. My wife may work this year so I will have more information on this later. There are no stupid questions!!!

I'd say nobody knows. I have heard that the volunteer camp is kind of "behind" Centeroo and separate from all other campers. And yes, the volunteers come in earlier than everyone else so I think they likely stick all of the volunteer cars in one place and set up a tent-only camping area very close to the back of Centeroo.
These are the bits and pieces I have heard; I can't personally vouch for any of it.
I remember seeing a pic of the volunteers living quarters and if I recall, they put ya in a super large tent with wooden floors and cots. Does anyone else remember this pic? There was also a large amount of glass beer bottles we assumed was confiscated and consumed by the volunteers.

I think that was the Clean Vibes crew - not sure if all volunteers are treated the same
why wouldn't the CleanVibes crew and volunteers stay in the same place, they're both technically volunteers, and CleanVibes doesn't even do anything till afterwards i thought
Clean vibes picks up all during Roo - I wsa out in BFE last year - and I think some of the volunteer camping was out there in the area next to the helipad and medical tent - all their cars and tents were on the other side of a chain link fence and there was a sign that said volunteers only
because Clean Vibes is a totally different company. and the fact that clean vibes volunteers dont clean up til after furthers the reason not to havce them camp together. im doing clean vibes volunteering (hopefully) after the fest and I hope we dont have to stay in a certain camp site. gotta have my general camping area
i remember last year during one of my trips around the camping area, lookign for my camp site, i ran in to a volunteer (Bonnaroo not clean vibes) and asked for directions and endedu p talking to him and he said that the people that were supposed to pick him up just forgot about him and he had no communication with them so he jsut had to wait and he had been waiting for three hours. that would suck balls to miss a good latenight because some dude forgot to coem get you.
I emailed the Bonnaroo Volunteer staff at volquestions@bonnaroo.com and asked if the camping for volunteers was tent only or car/tent. I got a reply today that said it was car/tent.
I also remember seeing on one of those aerial photos that there was a rather large area on the other side of VIP a ways through some woods..... It didn't look like the short hike to centeroo I hoped it would be. It seemed a waaaaays away. Perhaps all the vendors had to camp there too. I am going to send in another query to the staff about the location.

actually - I think what you saw was BFE - on Woodland avenue - that is where we were and I hope we are again - it is not a bad walk provided you don't plan on during dozens of time each day

WOW you're the first poster I have seen hoping to get back to BFE!

It's cleaner back there - quieter when you are finally wiped and need just a few hours of sleep - still had everything anyone could possibly need - i.e. mini shakedown and various people walking through selling stuff. Like I said - the walk was really not bad - about 20 min - we packed for the day - walked in - spent the day and at the end of it all - headed back to camp

does anyone know what kind of access the during-show cleanvibes volunteers get? like what kinds of wristbands? im volunteering during the show with cleanvibes this year and i'm wondering where we'll be camping and what, if any, perks we'll get. . .
i'm going where the sun keeps shining, thru' the pouring rain, going where the weather suits my clothes. backing off of the north east wind, sailing on summer breeze, and skipping over the ocean like a stone.
