Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I'm sorta worried about having someone to talk to. I'm sure I'll have a good time and all, but it seems like it'll be a tad less fun/meaningful without someone to laugh with, talk to, hang with, and create that mythology that comes with a great fest....
thats my feelings too. I'm kinda nervous about going alone but I need too.
I just filed for devorce last week after a marriage of 6 years I found out my husband was lying about bank accounts and having an online affair behind my back with an old x from high school to just name a few things. I normally would never go alone to festival but I need this do bad right now I dont care!
I will make time time for anyone that needs/wants compadreship. I bet almost all the camp inforoo-ers would say the same. I will be in RV with a GD flag (white background- big Stealy with smaller dancing bears beneath) . Look there =- or PM me before.
The only thing I worry about, with going solo... (yes, due to some family issues on the boyfriend's side, I am back to going solo)
I worry that at night, after the festivities are over, I'll have no one to come back to and tell about my day. Sometimes, you need to just come back to your camp, and sit around, and talk to someone who actually cares about what you have to say...
I was excited at first about going Solo... then I was excited about going with Austin... and now... I'm more worried than excited, I think. Taking a 14 hour bus ride to roo alone, while still having stomach problems...

i was going to go solo but as a friend had sort of expressed interest I bought two tickets anyway. She decided she defiantly wants to come so all ends well but I was coming no matter what ( sort of a cathartic trip after a now-failed fifteen year marriage). Anyway if anyone wants a drink or someone to talk to look for my flag. I know it's a big place but if you see a flagpole with a New Orleans flag, a dive flag and two red/black hurricane flags I'll be there.
All of you on Inforoo have been quite helpful, I've been lurking for a while and just wanted to thank everyone for the great information and advice.

I dont think there is such a thing as being lonely at Roo. Everyone is family and no one is a stranger there.
I am going without my fiance because he is on tour and has been gone since Feb (and who I rely on for everything!!) and taking my teenage daughter and her best friend. So I understand how you feel. No matter what I will have fun !!

Exactly! The members of this board are family and we take care of each other. You are always welcome to talk, I'm all ears

I have heard you express concern about this bus trip of yours before and I wanted to say something. I traveled Greyhound frequently when I was just 13-15 years of age and I never had a single problem. I used the opportunity to meet some of the most "interesting" people I have ever met. I understand that these "interesting" people can be the scary part and being a female is certainly more different circumstances but try to relax about it. You will be fine. It will be a great experience to start the weekend and you should have some good stories to tell. If you are too uncomfortable just sit near the front and when the bus stops so everyone can stretch their legs, stay close to the bus driver. They are very good about that and will be glad to keep you company.

whats Camp Inforoo??
You're gonna have a great time, bell! The way it looks now with all these solo(ers), just walk up to someone by themselves and start talking. It shouldn't take too many tries before you find someone receptive. That's my plan, anyway.
Oh, and camp inforoo is the general inforoo member camping area in Tent Only. There should be a Rooster flag to guide you there (and possibly Leo's baby flag...?) if you're interested in going that route.
