As some of you may know, I'm an up all night kinda guy. So the latenight meet-up is ideal for me. The problem is that I don't really have any interest in seeing Government Mule.

if you're gonna be up anyway, maybe you can stake us out a solid spot in the tent so we can run over when sasha and digweed start? ;D
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!

Hell yeah.. I'll be there for Sasha and Digweed too. (I'm really hoping to score those interviews as well) The best DJ sets I've ever seen were from Carl Cox (he's the MAN), Tiesto, Tenaglia, and certainly Oakie. Can't wait to see the superstar tag team in action at Roo. Also pumped to see Girl Talk.
I guess it IS kinda blasphemous, but I'm not really into Mule, nor Ween, nor Panic.. However, I'll readily admit that I'm MUCH more of the "rocker" type. I totally respect their music, but I'd rather see Ziggy, Gogol Bordello (can't wait!), Wolfmother, etc...

I can understand not being into Ween or Panic - truly I can - but Mule - hmmm - I am really really not into jam bands at all - but Mule has grown on me - although I will admit - went to see Chris Robinson and New Earth Mud open for Mule in Birmingham - fell asleep during Mule - but Chris Robinson rocked!
I'll def check out all of those bands if possible. I know I'm in the minority, but I'm just not too into the jambands. I'm a punk/ska/reggae musician, so I gravitate towards the bands with that type of energy. I love seeing good guitarists, and those jam band musicians are incredible. I sure as hell can't play like that... though I wish I could.
I'm def more of the guy who wants to be bouncing all over the place with energy than sitting down and chillin. I've always been like that. ('Specially when I'm drinking... like for example..RIGHT NOW.. Drinkin a Moe-jito) I'm excited to be seeing bands that I wouldn't usually go see. That's def a big part of the Roo experience to me. I'm actually going to be writing an article (or talking on the podcast) about those bands which were surprisingly really entertaining. I'm sure there's going to be a ton of em.
So if you see me around, and there's a bad ass band that I shouldn't be missing. Grab me and say, "Moe... LET'S GO. You can't miss (insert band)." hah... If I don't have anything scheduled, I'll prob go.
OK. Time to hit the hammock with my acoustic guitar!

Dude, you just classified mule as not a rocker band, when they rock harder then every other band you mentioned. Not to bash them, but they do. Ween and Panic dont, but mule does. If you havent atleast heard a sweet show of theirs, i suggest doing so. If you have and dont like them, everyone has their opinion, im cool with that, but if you havent heard them live, dont write them off yet.
I'm not writing off anyone. I'm excited to be seeing bands that I wouldn't usually go and see. It's a nice luxury to have when you're at a festival. Wolfmother and Gogol Bordello do rock pretty damn hard though.
im def down for a latenight meet up, but i too have no intrest in mule, personally i think we should all meet up for the sts9 late night and take over the front center and have a serious get down dance party, but thats just my opinion. im down with a Sasha meet also
ok kind of a silly question but does inforoo have a booth set up and stuff like that of itinerary so I know what and where etc everything is going on or should I print off a few "Notes to self" before I leave Canada?

Music schedules will be given on Bonnaroo.com and you can customize the grid for shows you want to see. You should also get a map upon arrival. There isn't a booth, I just make my on personal list of different meetups, jam sessions, beerpong tournament, etc...and print it all out on the same sheet as my grid for shows. I also make several copies just in case I lose one, I always do.
PS> Boomerang had a post with all the meetups somewhere around here.

I plan on going straight after the police, so maybe we can all meet up at the fountain when The Police finish up, because if they play their whole slot, its only 30 minutes between shows. If they dont play till then maybe we can just have the meet up at 11 30 at the fountain. I dont think getting a good spot will be a problem for Mule, as a lot of people will be missing the begining for The Flips. Just my idea for the whole thing, lets hear some suggestions.

count me and murphyshuman in for the mule meet up. I do want to get as good a spot as possible. I might even leave th epolice a little early for the Mule show. I here it going to be somthing extra special. Maybe even bigger then the x-mas jam.

I like this idea a lot... fountain at 11:30 sounds good to me. How long do you propose we wait around until we head to mule?

I say if The Police finish early, we can possibly head out at like 11 45. If they take up their whole slot, 12. Like i said before, i think Mules gonna be relatively thin at the very begining, so even if we got there at 12, which they arent going to actually start at, we should get pretty good spots.
