"Chicago is known as the Windy City, and Montana is called the Big Sky State, so I think that we should somehow combine the two to create the ultimate kite-flying experience. "-Mitch Hedberg
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!

I'll be 33 in May, my second roo, went in 2004, recently single (wet blanket ex-fiance wasn't into festivals) and I can't wait to get back. Only friend who I've convinced to make the treck from NY thus far is in his mid 40's and will fit in just fine (true free spirit).
I don't feel old, just more experienced than some, and less than others.

yeah, i feel a lot older than i am. mostly cuz i don't really drink so 21 doesn't matter to me. i prefer other forms of "entertainment".

Yeah, except with a beard you look about 20 years older then me. ;D 17 here, went to my first roo at the ripe age of 15. I too dont really care about 21 either, since i dont really drink. Half you guys are gonna be stuck in nursing homes while im still going to roo.
One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain. So hit me with music. Hit me with music, now, yeah. Hit me with music. Brutalize me with music.

Has anyone ever seen someone at bonnaroo that was in there 80's? That would just be the coolest thing if I saw an 80 year old rockin out too some tool.
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."
I don't know if the guy was in his 80's or not, but during Yhe Dead there was a guy at least well into his late 60's dancing ON the trash cans! Pretty funny site it was old ,am dancing on the cans and bunch of people standing around him taking pictures.
23, 4th roo. Graduate college on may 21st, and then get to enter into the uncomfortable world of trying to have a real job. Bonnaroo will make the transition much smoother.

Wife and I saw an older lady at Marley last year, looked to be mid to upper 60's, all decked out in a white dress. She had her a very young boyfriend (prob late 20s) with long dreds. Both of them were wearing VIP bracelets and he held an umbrella over her the whole time.
She reeked of money. All I could say was, Lucky Him!!
