We've got 2 Coleman fans and even though they are quite small, they allowed us an extra hour or two of sleep each morning. I'd get one (or more), if I were you.
There's a Ozark Trail one on ebay for $6 plus ~$6 shipping. It holds 6-8 D batteries and has a light. It's what I have and it work good (not great) but it lasts all weekend. Someone may have a better brand though.
You can probably get it for about that $ at Walmart. I got 2 for about $15 (w/shipping) off ebay a while ago.
We picked up an H2Cool at Walmart for about 20.00 - it runs on 4 D batteries I think - but we used it all weekend - we also bought one that hangs in the middle of the tent - like a ceiling fan and it was great also because it has a built in light - it is a Coleman

So I think I just bought a cooler on e-bay for 15 bucks (cant beat that) ... only problem is my pay pal account hasn't gone through yet... and i've got to have it paid for by such and such a time (yeah i dunno when but it's going to take like 3 days for my account to go through) So ... now what... I'm so not good at this allocation of funds thing

Just send the seller a message telling them whats up, but you probably wont even violate the payment rules. A lot of times people give a week, just check how long on the listing.

reading reading... within 3 days of auction close... well if nothing else, its only just in athens so I could go and pick it up on friday... even better i suppose then I wouldnt have to pay shipping

Hi all, I have a first timer question. We had planned on getting to Roo early thursday afternoon say 3ish, what are the odds we will be in BFE and also will Tent only be full by then you think ?
There are tons of threads on when to arrive, BFE etc. but it seems arrive before 6-8am and get BFE. Tent Only opens around 9am will take most of the day to fill (probably.)
How big is Tent Only in the whole scheme of things? I've looked at the Roo map quite a few times, and it seems as though T.O. is fairly small. I'm pretty sure that I have to camp in a specified area (anyone know where the "press camp" is? I couldn't find it on the map), but since this is my first year, I'm clueless as to the camping setup.
When people say that they're walking 1/2 hour to 45 minutes just to get to Centeroo, it makes me think that the farm is even bigger than I had originally thought! (I bet a good amount of people drop 5-10 pounds in the four days of Roo)
Yeah, I guess cars DO take up a bunch of space. I looked at the map again, and didn't see the volunteers area either. (Could only zoom in on the map so far) I'm just a little bit worried about my recording stuff. It will most likely be in my backpack, and on me at most times, but but when I don't need it, I'm sure I'll probably be leaving it behind. Hopefully I'll have a safe place to put my valuables.

Word Moe! It is quite difficult to imagine just how big that farm is from looking at the map!
There are actually campspots that can take up to an hour to walk from to centroo. TO is right outside the centeroo gate, probably 5 minutes. It is pretty big and I can not see a problem with it filling up. There should be plenty of room for all the infroosters coming in.
We are going to try to get there as early as possible to save as much space as we can. Early on Thursday is when I will be there.

so get this... the old man wants to come... (which is totally rad as far as i'm concerned) ... one problem... he wants to bring his trailer... and I didn't buy an RV pass... so does anyone know whether you can get one after purchasing tickets... or does anyone know if they are not going to use one they purchased?
