This is the first picture of the quilt I'm making for Bonnaroo 2007.
So far this is the size of a double quilt almost. One more fern green border is going on the outside of the forest green and on the Forest Green will say Bonnaroo (At the top) and 2007 (At the bottom)
Please post pictures here of something you've made for Roo!!

We used to make "welcome" bags for our neighbors but, most people seemed less that grateful.....so we stopped. Well, we stopped giving them directly to people. Last year we just left them in empty campsites. We're probably skipping it all together this year.
Wow Oatmeal! That was pretty damn nice of you and your girl! I can't believe people weren't appreciative of the gifts. Some people just are ingrates...
Yeah I like this quilt, did a little more work lastnight on it but Its too trimmed, neat looking. I don't like that........ I think on the border I'll PAINT with acrylics, "Bonnaroo" and on the bottom "2007"
Sorry about the size of the picture folks. I don't know how to fix it so that its a little smaller. I believe it has something to do with my camera. How distracting! anyhow the next quilt for bonnaroo is going to be hand prints of all people comign with us, and their signatures. That one will be made wtih scraps!
I've asked before but i'm asking again for opinions...
I'm making a super-cool hippie-chick wrap skirt. It's knee length and pretty full. Should I have it tie in the back and overlap in the front or tie in front and overlap in the back?
(sparkebecca was the only one who answered before on the girly thread... karma for her )
If it were my skirt, I'd put great big long ties on it and have it tie wherever. Make them so long you can tie anywhere and then you can have a great big huge bow too and long dangly ties! I love that look. Just don't want to trip over your ties and have the skirt fall off! ;D

I wanted to use the style of the Canadian flag, but instead of the Maple Leaf for the center, use the "Herb"
My group who are all coming to Roo wish me including my husband!!! (The Magical Mystery Tourists) All think it may draw unnecessary attention to us! I laughed and said OMG you are so right, I never thought of that....... Peeps may think we are "Vendors" heheheheheh ;D
