Wear glowsticks for lighting in the port-a-potties. I know everyone says use a flashlight, which can be used, but I'm not cordinated enough to hold my skirt up out of the poo, wipe the seat with Clorox wipes, hold toilet paper and hold a flashlight at the same time. Plus, I don't want to Purel my flashlight everytime I go.
One thing caving experience brought to my first roo (one of the few necessities I actually remembered) was a head lamp. You can get an LED one at walmart for super-cheap. When I'm walking, it's over my shoulder... when I'm in the porta-pottie, it's on my head. Word of warning though - it has a red LED option, which my husband and I have unintentionally used and freaked out some 'enhanced' folk at roo... it's kind of a devil light... so keep with the happy blue and all is well. ;D
