As for the pay-showers, perhaps, even probably. However, Bonnaroo's common showers double as water supply. They're shipping containers with troughs along the walls about 4.5 feet up and spigots along both walls. There's no changing area whatsoever. In fact, calling them showers is inaccurate. That said, washing off before heading back into Centeroo for the night is blissful. Just wear shorts (+ sports bra) and flip-flops. They're also a good place to wash clothing.
I have a feeling that the Garnier showers may be those shower-truck dealies I've seen at other fests, if so, they do have a changing area for women but not dudes.
take this with a grain of salt, the only diff between this year and last year is that the showers are sponsored, so they could be the same

So since they are sponsored they should be cheaper than the 10 dollars I heard that you had to pay last year. If it is only 5 bucks I just might take a shower once or twice.
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."

Or....you could use a bucket/big bowl, fill it up with water and use a washcloth in your tent. I plan on using this as a little rub-down morning and night. I just need to know that at least one layer of filth is washed off. I'm also going to hook up/duct tape my hose to a gallon bottle and let my boyfriend hold it up (and vice versa) so we have a little shower for washing hair as well.

I was looking at those solar showers in walmart ... I wonder if they're worth it? It would be just one more thing to lug around ... but privacy is nice. Any thoughts?
i had a solar shower last year and it was totally worth it....... it was kind of a pain lugging it back from the water station to the campsite.....i think this year i'm going to bring those big water jugs and have fresh water to shower with instead of the sulfer smelling stuff
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
Camp showers work great. Cabela's has many different types. Here are a few to look at plus a battery operated shower head.img456.imageshack.us/img456/5383/p03 1110ii01dr9.jpg[/img]
I have to this one and shower head. Like it very much.
Yeah I just bring two 7 gallon water containers filled with water from home. they have a little valve on them . set it on top of the truck. get naked and wrap yourself in a tapestry. go to town.
I've roo'd with the official camp showers as well. they typically need modified because of blowing curtains and weighty water bags and the like. I got 2 containers for 12 bucks out the door and haven't looked back.
2 years ago, I bought a portable Zodi heated shower......I then decided to make a home made shower tent.....Well I am an idiot when it comes to buiding some things. I took some shower curtains and stapled them on to some 2x2's and built a shower stall....Needless to say, when I put the tent up and drove the 2x2's into the ground, it was not very sturdy and then kind of shaky...We used it a couple of days and most people could see in at times, even though we did not care....By sunday and after the wind storm, it was totally trashed....Last year I bought a shower tent....This year VIP
We had a solar shower last year and it was awesome, but every other year we just used the free showers. They were awesome, too!! Anything that has water will do.
^^^ but the showers are not free - there will be a charge of some wort for them - showers with a solar shower at your camp, or bathing from the cooler are free
If they are $5, I am sure I will have to at least take one. I have been to festivals in the past where they have the RV showers, and it is an amazing difference how you feel that day after starting the day with a fresh bowl ala wake n bake style, and then head to the shower.
All you people worried about getting naked....just wear a swimsuit. Although honestly I doubt many people would even care about seeing a naked person at Bonnaroo. That being said, the troughs are not that bad, worked well for me last year. You could stand under the mist tents until your hair gets wet too, did that last year as well.
The first year we went it rained like a mother and we had no way of showering that year. We were new and not prepared very well. In centeroo there was a big crowd in this huge puddle of mud and people were wrestling. Guys and girls. They even had a ring anouncer sort of. They had costumes on too. I have always said if I had good showers I would consider to mud wrestle for fun if it rains like crazy. Well the last 2 year not much rain and I had a great shower tent too. This year VIP, so if it rains like crazy, I will mud wrestle once just to say I did it. I hope it does not rain though
