Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I have looked at my phone for an option for mass text messaging and there isn't one, which really puts a damper on the game plan With that said, I could just go back to the original plan and just do a phone tree, unless someone has a better option?
the more i look at this service the more i like it.. seems pretty darn cheap and seems like it would work well, now i just hope theres a way to send out from a phone...
One thing we could do is give out just a few numbers of folks who will have cell phones and will be there early thursday, those people could direct others to camp Inforoo
Then, the rest of the weekend, we could set up scheduled text messages to remind people of the events going on, examples: Brunch, late night meetup, kiss and tell contest, etc..
The only thing that really isnt very concrete is exactly where Camp Inforoo would be located... I think that'll be the one where folks should be able to call someone if they can't find it
I wouldnt mind being on the call list, I just got an insurance plan on my phone(so even if I do break it/lose it... no biggie) so I'm gonna be bringin it around with me

My phone will text to multiple recipients, and i have unlimited texting. I'm not sure how many i can send to, but it may be unlimited. If you'd guys like i could just do the texting, i should be at TO when it opens.
It is not possible especially such command would not be enabled from only a text size based on the message and the groups... But you can schedule your messages/campaigns at any time and for any time.

i can send to multiple people too and also have unlimited texting. i'll also be there early thursday morning. maybe the one's of us that have those capabilities could split up the list of campers coming to Inforoost and do it that way. I think it'd be easier than the phone tree.

Agreed^. I think we just make a list of numbers, then early thursday morning we split them up between the people who can text multiple people, then send them out. Then we can have a few people put their numbers up for an info line.
Hello you all! I have been lurking for a bit so I thought I would introduce and offer to help in any way. I think this site is an amazing idea and is a great way to meet ahead of time! Brilliant idea! I also plan on trying to camp in the inforoo area. You all sound like a great bunch of people to hang with for a few days in what I like to call "Happy Land" (or Disneyland on Crack). I have not been to the roo since 2003 and that festival was life altering (especially the late night Particle and the Panic show!!!)
I got off track a bit, so anyway, let me know what I can do to help in the meeting and setting up. I should be arriving in the I24 westbound line at about 8 am on Thursday morning so I imagine I will be one of the first to show!

One option we may have...
If one of the Manchester locals can check the hotspots at HIE, Walmart, Bushy Branch and possibly the back road location closest to VIP/What stage area, I'm bringing my laptop. I'm arriving late Wed/early Thur. so it might be faster and much cheaper to send text messages through free texting sites like CallWave.

I can send texts to up to ten people at once... So as long as we are given a list, and some sort of list of when to send out what message, I can help out...
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
I'll have my phone and my laptop.....so if I can help with texting or calling let me know....plus I'll have access to the press area which SHOULD have wifi...tho it might not have any better coverage than any place else.....
I plan on getting in sometime around noon on Thurs.....hopefully a little before......if the lines are short ;D
