My Pumas and my Adidas. My Pumas have traveled all over the country with me and they're beaten to hell now, so I'm burying them at 'roo, because I can't think of a better resting ground!

I used to have a pair of courdoroy Nikes that had (more than) earned their frequent flyer/traveler/tripper/partier miles and I always wanted to do something special for them after they finaly died. Bonnaroo would've been the perfect resting place!
I've been wondering what people see in Crocs... they're so ODD looking! I swore that the only way I would wear them is if I was held down and they were nailed on my feet. (owie!)
But when I went shopping for cheap, throwaway shoes ... what did I find??? Crocs and every shape of croc-look-a-likes. They're everywhere! What ever happened to CUTE? Those things are clunkers.
Oh, and mine are blue and made of foam. ;D They were only $8.
So, ugly blue, fake crocs, a good ol' pair o' birkenstocks, flip flops, sneakies....
put your dogs in a pair for 5 steps and you will know thy name!
nothing like a couple good pair of sandles. I live in sandles mostly so it is nothing new for me. they are the most comfortable things I own and I havn't lost them yet. They are my lucky sandles too!!
i brought flip flops the first year and almost lost them all in the mud. last year i brought crocs and they were great because my feet stayed cleaner. this year i am trying choco's, my crocs, and maybe a pair of new balance. and flip flops for the camp site.
Definately the Tevas. I still got my Teva tan from last year. I'm bringing my hikers too in case of mud, and maybe some cheap slip ons for the showers and those middle of the night not quite sober runs to the porto (I can't stand the thing between my toes on flip-flops).
crocs are great because they are so comfortable, and you can were them slip on or with the strap. i wore them everyday last year and my feet stayed a lot cleaner. i would go to an outdoor store, they should have them. its worth the money. the only bad part you is you don't come home with a sandal tan.
Why are folks bringing both rain boots and crocs? I'm not tryin to give you a hard time or anything, but crocs work great in the rain! I'm just curious really..

What's with all the Crocs? (no offense, just curious) and where is the best place to pick the right pair up for the festival??
I wondered the same - I hated the way they look and was not convinced until I bought some. Now I have 2 pairs, purple and orange. You can get them at Dillards, outdoor stores, and of course online. They cost around $30.

I tried to go shopping for Bonnaroo shoes the other day and saw tons of Crocs. I'm sure they are great and everything, but they are the ugliest things I've ever seen. I just can't bring myself to buy any.
I'm bringing some flip-flops and am looking for a pair of Keen sandals to buy.
