Hello fellow Roo'ers. This is my first post, but I have been lurking here since March. I really appreciate all of the helpful advice that I have gleamed from reading over this site.
This will be my girlfriend and I's first Bonnaroo, and I have been buying everything that I think might be of use to us while we are there. But I still can't help but feel like I am forgetting some other important items. Here is a list of everything that I have so far. If some of you could read over it and tell me if I am leaving anything off, I would gratefully appreciate it.
01. Tent + tent spikes and mallet 02. Tarp 03. Huge 9.5 foot umbrella + stand for shade 04. Whisk broom + dust pan for tent 05. Air mattress + pump 06. Two tent fans + two mist fans 07. Flag pole + flag 08. One 60 qt. 5-day cooler + 2 56 qt. coolers 09. 4 cases of water 10. 14 32oz. bottles of powerade 11. Lantern for tent 12. Two small flashlights + one large one 13. Glow sticks 14. Small Boombox 15. Batteries 16. Rope 17. Portable toilet (gf refuses to use the port-a-potties) 18. Multi-tool 19. Large bowl for washing up in the morning 20. Cut off water hose for the trough containers for showering 21. Wash cloths + towels 22. Soap + shampoo and conditioner 23. Baby wipes 24. Hand sanitizer 25. Gold bond 26. Toothbrushes + toothpaste 27. Sunblock 28. Off bug spray 29. First aid kit 30. Bungie cords 31. Chairs 32. Playing cards 33. Ponchos 34. Various types of hats 35. Shades 36. Bandannas w/cooling crystals 40. Neat sheet to sit on in centeroo 41. Camera and film 42. Paper towels + toilet paper 43. Trash bags 44. Three half gallons of vodka + one case of beer 45. I also plan on buying a wagon as well to haul all of this stuff to tent only.
I haven't bought any food yet, planning on doing that this weekend. But as far as supplies go what do you guys think. Is there anything that i might be forgetting. As I said earlier any advice would be appreciated.
P.S. Sorry for the long list, but I am OCD that way. Plus I thought that maybe my list might help someone on here think of something they might need as well.

Nice list!
I never see anyone talk of this, but bring some eyedrops. I'm sure the dust will make them dry...at least mine will. (I'm also bringing a saline nasal spray for the roo dust boogers.)

Sup Meg. I got duct tape. Just forgot to put it on the list. And oleander I was thinking of a table, but we really don't plan on spending that much time at camp. I was kinda planning on just using one of the coolers, but I might still pick one up. My only real concern is using the umbrella for shade instead of an actual shade tent. I bought the umbrella thinking that space might be an issue at camp (before I found this site), but later found out that in tent only you can have more than the 10' by 10' the site says. Do you think that it will be sufficient; if I put it in the tent when we leave camp everyday, or should I break down and go ahead and buy a shade tent?

I say get a shade tent and put your tent underneath the shade tent as well. That way it won't be as hot because no direct sun will be hitting the tent. My tent will fit underneath my screen house entirely. It also protects against horrible rain.
But, it's all a personal decision. If you don't mind putting up the umbrella every time you go back, then keep the umbrella. You just won't have as much shade...and that is a commodity at Roo.

Thanks Oleander for all the advice, but I will probably be sticking with the umbrella. To much other stuff to get with the food, last minute items, and party favors. But I will definitely be investing in a shade tent for next year. Karma to you for all the advice.
My husband and I are also from Prentiss. I thought that we would be the only ones from our area attending . This is also my first post -Glad I read your checklist!

Hey there lealea. Karma to you for being from P-town. lol. I definietly didn't expect anyone from Prentiss to be attending the festival. Do ya'll plan on hitting up the Wal-Mart next Wednesday night? We will be there.

As my Inebriated buddy walks out of the Porto, he yells out, "Dude...I love this place...bonnaroo thinks about everything...they even put beer holders next to the toilet!"
Had to break it to him that that was the urnal. Good times good times!
Great to see Mississippi represented. We are traveling for our 2nd and third year from Centreville. Save some funds to buy food at Centaroo and in the camp area. You can find great stuff at good prices. We found that fresh fruit (oranges, grapes, plums) were great in the ice chest. Refreshing. A backpack and comfortable shoes are a must. Ponds makes wipes to remove makeup that are great to use during the heat of the day to freshen up. Makes you feel almost human. A tarp or canopy ($20-$100) is a must. At 8AM it is too hot to stay in the tent. Remember this is a hayfield with no shade. We used a cheap one last year and did great. Also, make a trial run setting everything up before you leave. When you park it's like a land grab. Spread your stuff to mark your space. It fills in fast and experienced Rooers will grab all the room they can. Most important--bring your patience. It is an amazing event and people are almost always willing to help you. See 'ya there!!!

Didn't see this on the list, but both shoes and sandals. remember you'll be walking a lot and quite possibly a lot in the rain, so bring shoes that are good for wet walking. (aka Crocs )
Thanks for the list, man. I was looking for a comprehensive list to send my newbie friends. And I'm from Mississippi too...Madison, precisely. Glad to see other MS people on the boards. First post!

The bandana neck coolers absolutely drop your body temp. We've used them for years with baseball teams. Our son was a catcher and it really helped. See 'ya at Roo.
Not sure if anyone has said anything, but if you are going to wear underwear, I would double the amount undeerwear per of day of camping. it will feel so good to change after hot days.

Under armour shirts are always a good idea. I would add collapsible water jugs for regular water use. I am bringing a grill and match charcoal along with grill utensils and basic silverware and dishes. Hydrogen peroxide is definitely a good idea, I cut the skin off the tip of my finger at Coachella reaching through my bag where my razor was in. Put your razor in its own location. Antibacterial bathroom wipes if you do use the portopottys is a must. Dont expect toilet paper in there bring your own. I think that adds on a couple really good items. You cant have enough towels. Dont forget your monkey puppet either. This doesnt even touch the food list. Dry ice is a really good idea to keep everything cold as long as possible. I have a longer list than you. Hooray OCD. Luggage carriers like dollys work to. THrow all your stuff in containers or duffle bags. And bring lots of virgins. video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4035243426495983950&hl=en

I would like to thank everyone that gave me their suggestions. I am going to go finish up my shopping this Sunday to finish getting food and the last few supplies that I need; thanks for all of your help. And to thunderdan; yes I believe a garden hose does work. I remember seeing some pics up close that someone on here took one time. It was in some thread on this site about a month and a half ago, but that is all I remember about it sorry. But I will keep checking this thread, please keep the good ideas coming.

Bandana neck coolers sound awesome. I'm gonna look into that.
The only change I'd make to your list is to change "Small Boombox" to "Big-ass Boombox".
Think about this...
You are chillin in your campsite in the morning with your "Big-ass boombox" listening to your favorite band, I'm just gonna say Wilco, cause your name reminded me of them. Your camping neighbors are 10 feet away, with their also "Big-ass boombox" listening to their favorite band, let's go with Tool. Do you really think this would be pleasant?
I encourage people to keep their boomboxes small. Personally, I'm just bringing headphones and my ipod probably. Maybe a small radio.
