last year, when i got home, i got addicted to it, and kept using it. Dried me OUT down there, and started itching very bad. Had to get Jock Itch cream to clear it up. gross, i know, but beware.

First day I put it on and thought... Gee... I dont hardly feel anything at all... Put on a good bit more and figured, ok, well, guess we'll see...
A few minutes later... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.......... what a nice sensation....
Saved my sack all weekend, that stuff did.
But the best part of all was getting to turn to my wife every morning after breakfast and coffee and say, "Pardon me dear, I need to go powder my nuts."

Personally I referred to it as "time to powder the doughnuts.."

I bought some, never needed it and never used it. I got a bit hot ans sweatly on the weekend, but I guess I'm lucky or what? I just don't see what happens. Is it from being dirty?
I didn't get as sweaty as I expected - maybe because TN is less humid than MD and I had built up a tolerance.
I used Gold Bond in my Crocs each night and that left them lovely. As for the rest of me, not so good for the girlies, so I used a bit of baby powder and these fabu moisture-wicking $9.99 little bike shorts my friend recommended from K-Mart. Those things ROCKED under sundresses!

I used gold bond for the first time ever this year, what I lifesaver. After the first day, I think I built a tolerance to the menthol, and am now ready for the extra strength. We thought the ultimate anti-theft trick would be to leave a little pile of it on a table on a CD case, but i decided that would be way too mean.

Bought some, but didn't use any of it.
My shorts under the skirts were awesome! No chaffing whatsoever, and they dried really quickly. Those things saved my life during the weekend of sweat and dirt.
Got a small bottle for 1 buck at Target. I used it every day after my "shower" at the water station. The rest of me was sweaty as hell every day, but my skittles stayed nice and dry.
I got the blue bottle, and it burnt the f**k out of my boys!!!
Careful, man. The Yellow is for first times, the Green is for experienced users and the Blue is for FEET (or crazy-asses).
I've religiously used the Extra Strength for years. It's great EVERYWHERE, the boys, the pits, all over the chest and my fav, the small of the back that gets all sweaty from standing out all day. Keeps me cool all day long, and the minty fresh scent doubles as deoderant at the same time.

Gold bond should set up a booth at festivals, I can already see the signs for this place: "Now you can feel what a 1000 little menthol elves feel like on your balls!"

Unless those elves look like this, I think I'll pass:
[edit] Oops.. shrunk it down so it's not so obnoxious. Sorry.

i just had to clarify -
it's so much more humid in other parts of TN (ya know, the parts not in the hills). i was so surprised the first time i went to bonnaroo - but pleasantly surprised nonetheless!
isn't it awesome to be able to say "i get a break from the heat at bonnaroo"?

It's true! I came home to a WALL of thick, muggy heat. Today I walked from my car seat to my car's trunk and was coated in a slimy sweat. I'd take dust over Maryland mug for a festival any day!

I kept saying the whole time, "This is actually not bad at all," and "It really hasn't been hot all week." People looked at me like I was mondo bonkers (which may also have been true) but from the way people had talked I had expected 95degree 90pct humidity the whole time. I mean, a good day in the heat of a summer here in SC is gawd awful worse than the hottest point in this year's 'roo.
Sunblock was a must, and lots of water of course, but really I thought the weather was quite nice aside from the dust.

Free handfuls of Gold Bond at set break would freaking rock! Put an extra bounce in your step. Or guys like Trojan had walking the croud, but just with yellow bottles in ther hands
yeah, the humidity in delaware has been unbareable this week. It was hot at bonnatoo, but the air was not humid. At least at night it was cool when the sun went away. Here, at night, its still effin humid
