Here I am (right out of the shower) in my kariza last year. Mine is the shorter length so I just wear it as a skirt. I wore it all day and I don't remember being bothered by it - but I don't remember much of that day at all, really.
You'll also notice that I don't mind showing my bra straps at Roo, but normally I wear wide-strapped tanks so that my messenger bag and folding lawn chair I carry don't eat at my shoulders all day.

oh, how that picture makes me sad (the kaizra is beautiful) but it is falling 10 degrees and hour here and that sun makes me long for hot days on the farm
Sparklybecca, I know this sounds kinda of creepy but, I like your style. From your post I feel like we like all the same things. I feel like I'm hitting on you. tehehe
Anyway, I have 2 kariza wraps that I wore last year and I love love love them. I plan on bringing them back this year.

I may be out of place on this thread but I would like to contribute. Bear in mind this is coming from a guy who wears the same sandals 75% of the week and has worn the same shirt the past three days.
Stop wearing UGG boots. As the name suggests they're ugly and i makes you look like an eskimo with large kankles.
Flowy skirts that hit below the knee are awesome. Super short skirts are ok if you care to share a peak at your no-no's. I, for one, like to be left wondering. For god's sake, give me something to work for.
For winter: Pea Coats. It fulfills some sort of deep maritime fantasy and makes you look like a little bundled present to be opened.
For spring: I like sundresses personally. It's like a tanktop and flowy skirt in one. Awesome. Also, if things go well and it comes to gettin down time it's not hard to manuever.
For summer: naked... umm... I mean tank-tops. It says you're gonna have a good time but, if need demands, you could hang out with our parents.
For fall: light sweaters. Sweaters accentuate some of the defining features of the fairer sex, boobs, without puttin 'em all out there.
There. Fashion advice from someone who has been wearing the same Widespread Panic shirt for three days, is not much of and Manscaper, and has been particularly praised for his style. My "metrosexual" roommate agrees with me though, for what it's worth.

Did anyone have a problem remebering to take their birth control last year or at past roos?!
There was so much going on, I totally forgot to take mine during roo. I became somewhat alarmed, but all was fine when I eventually rode the crimson wave a few days later (haha, I say crimson wave bc I saw that in Clueless when I was like, 8 or 9)
But yeah we should have a text messaging chain to remind everyone to take their medications, no matter what they are! I know it's super important, but I think everyone can agree that the chaos of bonnaroo changes things a bit.
oh yeah, and I pray I'm not riding the wave during roo.
That would be like, up there with getting it on your wedding day.

I use the Nuva Ring, so I don't even have to think about it. It's great. You put it in and you're good for a month. But when I was on the pill I set an alarm on my cell phone to go off everyday and remind me to take it.
Also, if your worried about your period during Roo, figure out a couple months ahead if your off-the pill week falls during Roo. If so, you can skip those and just start on the next set of pills. It will change your off week cycle, so problem solved. I would suggest doing this a couple months before though, so that you don't have to worry about getting crampy duting Roo.
PS-the other good thing about the nuva ring is that you can leave it in for 33 days and not take an off week. so I only work it so that I only have a period every other month. It's great having that control
Maybe start now by making it part of your morning routine (eg. take it right before you brush your teeth)? Routine helps me to remember most things.
That's what I do now. I take it in the mornings while I get ready for school, so I'll just have to leave it by my tooth paste and brush at roo.
but it sucks missing a couple of days of your birth controls, bc then you have to start a new cycle.
I used to set the alarm on my cell phone. I used 8am because during the week it was right before I had to leave for work. On the weekends it kinda sucked if I had gone out the night before, but I almost always could fall right back asleep.
And then there was no worries because I was taking it almost at the same time every day.

Uggs are the most amazing shoe ever! I was so against them at first then I put a pair on and ended up buying two pairs. I literally wanted to sleep in them they are SOOOO comfy! So there, boy! :-P lol

I've been doing the skipping my cycle thing every year at roo since 2005...just skip the week of fake pills and go on to the next pack. I can't even imagine and never wanted to experience what it would be like to have "it" at roo...the very thought of having to do anything in a port-o-potty scares me! Plus I get horrible cramps and headaches so that's not something I want to be dealing with when I'm trying to have fun! Sorry if this was TMI hehe

"Son, whats say we get the hell out of here for the weekend... um... hike old rag? ok lets go" (Old Rag is a great hike in VA)
I love Old Rag! What an awesome hike. Complete with death defying rock jumps, a full-body shimmy up a vertical tunnel and tons of downhill, when it's all over. If anyone ever makes it over to the Shenandoahs, check out that circuit hke. Completely amazing.

Hey, do whatever's right for you. I'm just saying that they look like they were made for eskimos with huge kankles.
I have Ugg boots, patent leather clogs and slippers (the dog chewed the boots and clogs). As someone with feet that are always cold, Uggs are the only shoe that have worked for me. I agree they are hideous as hell (well, the clogs WERE cute until dogzilla got to them), but they keep my feet warm and I really only wear them in the house.
