my brother got some undies from REI that im considering (in lady format of course) - they had a tag that said something like 18 countries, 40 days, 2 pairs of underwear. They're meant for hiking/traveling super light/etc. BOOM! Found them: www.exofficio.com/products/details/womens-give-n-go-lacy-bikini
Im considering a couple of these. the reviews on them are pretty spectacular. I'll get a couple personal reviews from my sis before Roo this year, too; she'll be in Germany for a couple weeks right before.

so my hair is always a sweaty disaster at festivals, and they have some of the cutest head wraps for sale at forever21.com. they have elastic at the back of the neck to keep it on better and they also tie behind the neck. this is a step up from just a bandana or even a scarf wrap for sure. my bandanas always feel like they are going to fall off and need constant adjustment. i would post a pic but i haven't ever figured that out..... also on a side note, i have noticed that fringe (on tank tops, jackets, purses etc.) is going to be really in this spring and summer. i bought a few super cute fringed tanks that i think will look really cute while i'm dancing i wish i could post pictures so bad because i also am planning a LMFAO-type outfit for late-nights and i already have the bright-red leopard print spandexy leggings for it complete with teal cropped leopard print tank. um...i guess i'm getting a little obsessed already.....lol

I need to see that outfit lol I plan on putting some glow in the dark fabric paint on a tank or tee for night time. We'll see how it turns out.
Oh and for pics just hit choose file in the reply and then click the host it button which will bring you to an ImageShack window. Then copy and paste the message board link into your reply.

I wonder if the tanks are any good, too. Hmm.. That's way more than I'd like to spend on a pair of underwear, but it sounds like it may be worth it.
Right now through 1/19, everything at Gap, Old Navy and Banana Republic is 30% off, plus free shipping if you spend $50. Or 20% off at Piperlime. Use code NEWYOU at checkout.
Ladies, they don't have anything in my size but Heavenly Couture.com has all of their dresses marked down. Most are under $20 bucks and they have a lot of Romeo and Juliet and Esley. Just FYI.
So ladies, I've been wanting a belt bag/utility belt for what seems forever, but they are super expensive. You guys know what I'm talking about, right? Those cool looking (not fanny pack) belts with a bunch of packets.
I saw one the other day that looked really easy to make. I can't find the picture, so we'll have to use our imagination. Basically, this girl cut a pair of pants leaving just the waist band and the pockets (front and back), and then decorated it with some cute buttons and fringe. The waist back obviously goes around you waist, and the pockets hang down to hold your phone and cash and stuff. Perfect for with skirts with no pockets! It was super cute. I'm totally making one before festie season!
This doesn't have fringe, but like this? I've been looking into a utility belt too! I think I am just going to acquire a leather belt and make some non fanny pack looking pockets to attach to it.

Yes! Like this! There are a bunch of beautiful leather ones on Etsy, but they are mostly $100 or more. I prefer free (aka upcycled)

I hear ya, all the ones I liked were far too expensive. I was planning on making mine as well, if I come across any snazzy DIY guides I will let you ladies know. These belts would be fantastic when I don't want to lug a whole lot around at roo'!

i wear a little makeup. i didnt have any trouble with it. mostly it was mascara and some lip color. i did wear tinted moisturizer as an extra sun protection. i can tell when its gone and can reapply.

last spring i saw some belts like the "discreet" one posted above at target for a decent price. i think they only had black but maybe they will bring them back this year...
i had an express gift card (i neverrr shop at express/nor can i afford it) so i was excited to snag this 'roo worthy crochet top:
love it. pictured on model it has some kind of shimmery cami beneath. i think it would work great with a bandeau or swim suit top.
First of all, this thread is amazing and so helpful! This is my second Roo and I'm already getting excited about the wonderful festie clothes.
I love this top. It's impossible not to feel beautiful in crochet tops! I just got one at Forever 21 that I am pairing with some vintage levi's shorts.
Hi, everyone! I'm so ready to come out of Bonnaroo hibernation! I'm loving that utility belt idea. Maybe I could turn it into a sexy bonnaroo cowgirl look? Haha!

Hi ladies! I used to be a pretty frequent poster waaaay back in the day, and unfortunately life, bills, school, stuff got in the way but I'm happy to be back.
I love girly stuff and all things bonnaroo so this thread is <3
I really dig the crochet! I'm going to tie dye some soon and if it comes out rad I'll bring some pieces with me to roo, crossing my fingers!

Thank you!
I'm really hoping it'll be kind of cool at night this year because I reaaaally want to be obscenely bright for one night (or 3) and was thinking about ordering these leggings from one of my fave sites, welovecolors.com
I really like them and can see myself rocking them in daily life with a cool, solid t-shirt.

I'm wondering about this. I had the bonnarash all over my legs and arms last year. I though about wearing something like these to help keep the chemicals off but thought they might be too hot.

Well I was thinking of rocking them at night when it was a little cooler. They also sell tights which may work since they have the thinner material.
I saw a few girls rocking tights and leggings the last time I went in 2009, so I guess it's just weather permitting. They are easy to stash in a bag though, so they're perfect if you get cold during late nights!
I love that second one, but HATE the price! YIKES.
i know!!! i can't tell you how many times i have found the perfect whatever i am looking for on etsy only to be discouraged by the price.
as for the leggings - i took some last year for nighttime in case i got cold. i didn't actually end up needing them, but i think if it had been just a tad bit chillier i would have been very happy to have them. you can always plan on a back-up outfit if it is too warm
