This may be a stupid question, but I am new to the VIP thing (3rd Roo overall) and can't figure something out. I understand that I have to buy in pairs but do you also have to check in in that same pair? Or if I find someone to split with on this board and they mail me my half of a VIP pair, could I just go check in with my even number of fellow VIP-ers?
You do not have to be together, but note that Bonnaroo ships both tickets to the purchaser only; you'll have to make your own arrangements to get your ticket from/to the other guy. You also only get 1 parking pass, directions, and miscellaneous other promotional materials.
You'll get your wristband when you show up at the Holiday Inn with your ticket.
Right. One pair per order. Although, I'm not sure how they could stop you from making two consecutive orders.
One pair per order means 'one pair per credit card', really, not just one per household. You just won't be able to get 2 pair on the same charge.
I wonder. It's separate charges, if you do separate orders. If anything, I would think it might mean one pair per user account on musictoday. I can see situations where limiting it by credit card wouldn't be terribly fair. Like a set of parents who would like to bring two kids. If each parent set up a separate account, but used the same credit card, I think they might be able to get both sets with one credit card. Regardless, it's still probably best to see if a second person/account/card could be roped into helping, if necessary. Because it looks like "one pair per order" could be interpreted a lot of different ways, here.
BTW, just went back to check the exact wording on the Bonnaroo site. It says: "There is a limit of one VIP package per order. " Take that for what you will. Maybe one per card. Maybe one per account. Maybe one per order, with consecutive closed out purchase orders being fine.
Hi I'm new. Me, my girlf and two of our friends will be VIP this year. This is my 5th roo (03-06) but the first for everyone else I'm with. Never did VIP before, I'm looking forward to it!

$1,252.10 later and I'm in.
One thing I didn't like was this:
"In the event of a cancellation of 2008 Bonnaroo Music Festival, only the face value of the ticket will be refunded. Service, shipping and handling fees will not be refunded."
I mean if they cancel Bonnaroo for some reason I'm out $82.60?

6th roo - 1st VIP......Can't wait! Fast question: how is the VIP parking allocated? Are the 1st in VIP parked closest to the front and to the centeroo entrance?? Can we choose where in VIP we want to park? Thanks!

I've been meaning to ask about this myself. I know that people who arrive early for the general camping areas get often have to camp farthest away. Surely it's not this way in VIP is it?

We got there around 4:30pm on Thursday and were in what seemed to be the back corner of VIP, right near to tent-only. Even then, we were 5 minutes or less from EVERYTHING.
It made finding our campsite easy, though. We walked to the end of the road from Centeroo, took a left right before the gate there at the end of the road, then were like the 3rd tent from the end.

they fill it up left to right and front to back as you go in. The first section of VIP filled up Thursday. Back section filled up Friday(formerly tent only). We were at the back of the first section and we got there at 7AM Thursday. But we did not get in due to M#%&*^@ing lines till 2PM. But we were a 5 minute walk to the food tent(cream corn) and a 2 second walk to the showers ;D
I'm there 1st time roo and VIP one question I have a dodge pu dually anyone know if this would require RV parking? I figure the 20x50 space is plenty big for the truck in vip camping. thanks

Ya I am taking my girlfriend and 2 of her friends to Bonnaroo this year and we are all going VIP... they are all Roo virgins so I think VIP will be best for city girls who probably will not enjoy camping!
Hey everyone!!! 6th time Rooer and 2nd year VIP - can't wait for this again!!!! Last year the VIP was amazing and wouldn't do it any other way. Any VIPers from Western NC? We are in Boone!
Second Roo, first VIP! We bought early bird tix last year, then found out we were pregnant 5 days later!! I was so miserable I knew I couldn't handle the TN heat at 7 mos. pregnant. Since we had to miss it, we're going BIG this year!
So who would be down with the idea of a VIP dance party? I'll be blasting my iPod on some portable battery-powered speakers (if I can find them ahead of time) and doing the drunken rum dance. Look for Calgary Flames and Canadian paraphenlia and that'll be my site.
