LOL I'm really glad to see a picture of my blister made it on the board!! gross!!
PS - don't EVER buy crocs that are just a *little* too tight to wear to roo, because you're a girl and the color is just more important
haha noted ;D i actually heard that if you bring back your old crocs to the croc store, they will recycle them for you and give you a discount on a new pair ;D
LOL of course they didn't mention that when I was at the Crocs booth friday afternoon buyin a new pair!
It's ok I found another girl with big feet from inforoo, so they went to a good home! (i don't want to "out" any other big-footed girls without their permission )
Nice pics...The pancakes were GREAT as always cheffers!!!
Man o man those freaking chocolate chip cookies were incredible.
I ate TWO of them before I left camp and by the time I got the access where my sister-in-law was camped I was SOOOOOO F'd up it wasnt even funny. I didnt walk around roo after that, I floated around roo for a while!

Hahahahaha...nice man, very nice!! The Tues. before 'Roo i made the mistake of self testing those same cookies after I finished baking them, because I wasnt sure of the strength. I also ate two, AND a brownie of about the same intensity. Man, i was USELESS for about 12 hours!!
"We're no longer called Sonic Death Monkey. We're on the verge of becoming Kathleen Turner Overdrive, but just for tonight, we are Barry Jive and his Uptown Five. "

OK OK they were my big feet that Tara's crocs found a good home in... I cleaned them up this morning and plan on wearing them tonight... if you want them back for the discount on another pair I CAN see they get to you.

Hey Sassbox. That's me in the 1st picture. I didn't remember having my picture taken. I was standing there enjoying the mimosas. Those and the biscuits & gravy really started the morning off right. It was cool meeting everybody. I remember I got into a conversation with someone about King Crimson and why they should be booked for the Roo next year.
That's my husband Dallas next to Cajun talking to you Meg!
After we got home and were looking at pics - Boz said he wished we had taken more time to talk to you two and hang out. It was a frazzled brunch for us with cooking and all

Yeah I can see my campsite in almost every picture you guys have on this thread. I was camped right across from you guys in the car camping area above Camp Adrian. We were the peeps with the really cool tye dye tapestries and if you smelled something very funky quite often that was us. We were lucky all weekend and found great corn from the moment we set up camp.
Also thank you Joel for the biscuits, they were annihilated within minutes.
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."
I would have loved to have stayed and talked a bit more, but it was a bad morning all around, and I know I wasn't being to social (which I am very much so) To the few of you that I met, it was great meeting you guys. Hope next year I wont have any calls of distress from camp mates telling me the generator broke! Which was borrowed!
As my Inebriated buddy walks out of the Porto, he yells out, "Dude...I love this place...bonnaroo thinks about everything...they even put beer holders next to the toilet!"
Had to break it to him that that was the urnal. Good times good times!
I loved the brunch... wish I'd stayed longer / been able to bring some food to contribute. Oh well, I guess that's what happens when you fly in. I only got a couple pics - I wish I'd taken more, but I felt kind of awkward taking photos of people I'd never met in person before.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention - at the brunch, I discovered an Inforooster went to high school with several of my best friends - this happened to be in a town of 20,000 people, 1,100 miles away. It's a small world, I suppose.
Is it sort of a potluck brunch? Everyone brings some sustenance? I like the sound of it. I will bring some standard brunch munch ie. Corn quiche, Corn cookies, corn brownies... and maybe some oj, lol.
