Not to blatantly steal the idea from the VIP thread, but I'm probably about too...
I've considered for a while bringing up a collapsible table and some solo cups in order to have sort of friendly, family-game-night sort of thing with my hopefully friendly neighbors.
Honestly, does it sound worth it? Will there be time?

from 8 am till noon there is nothing to do.
well, aside from chilling with your new best friends (your neighbors) and having mimosas...

Right now that question can be answered with if you are going to skip any of the headliners. If you don't care for metallica then you can probably spend 3-4 hours just hanging out at your camp and I am sure there will be some people skipping the metallica show. You COULD do it before any of the shows start early in the morning but I would probably recommend against that because of the heat and staying hydrated thing.

If you bring it, they will play! Who doesn't love beer pong?! LoL Let me know where you'll be camping at, I'd be down And I'm sure you'll find other uses for the table and cups when not playing pong!

That is the absolute truth! I actually brought a folding pong table last year, and when it wasnt in use, it doubled as our campsite table, and worked out perfectly!!
Anyway, I think this is a GREAT idea!! Myself and my camp-mates will def. come and play!!
"We're no longer called Sonic Death Monkey. We're on the verge of becoming Kathleen Turner Overdrive, but just for tonight, we are Barry Jive and his Uptown Five. "
We plan on bringing a table because we really would have loved one last year - using the cooler as a table is not a great idea when it is holding all the beer.
Have table, must play beer pong! We'll be sure to have a game set up in our GA site so come on by! We're planning on making a flag - Camp Ruckus in honor of my boxer dog - will be a picture of a boxer dog, most likely in Mardi Gras beads. ;D

its when you have a large cup in the middle of the table..everyone playing puts a small amount of their drink in the cup.
you take a deck of cards and spread them out around the center cup face down
every card has a rule (for example: 2's are for you, which mean if you pick a "2" you have to drink from your cup)
you go in turn and keep picking cards til they are gone or the last king is drawn
when the last king is drawn, whoever picked it must drink the center cup
its a good game to get really drunk, really fast depending on the rules
hey i know that game... all the people i know call it Captain Dickheads. and everyone remembers the rules differently whenever we play so it doesn't work all that well lol. Great game though.

yea i've heard people call it by several names...we always write them down and pray they don't get ruined (which they always do)
me and a couple of friends were playing when we were in upstate pennsylvania camping and this kid was on the un-lucky side...he had to just keep drinking, which caused him to be pretty hammered...we were in the middle of a round and he just threw up at the table on himself...normally we would have thought he'd be down for the count, but he just picked his card and kept drinking...funny moment in history..hahaha

And "not a very nice person" would probably be a$$hole. I know whenever I play that, we always have to reestablish the rules because everyone grew up with slightly different ones

I'm around beer pong every fucking weekend. I've grown so tired of it. Playing it can be fun and all, but it's not the greatest thing on earth like my friends make it out to be. Kings Cup/Captain Dickhead > beer pong
We brought a table last year. Not only was it key for beer pong, it proved useful for cards, cooking, and piling stuff on... Also...our Canadian lady neighbors had never played before and they thought it was great!!! We played in the morning....a series of games before we made the hike to Centeroo. If you wait to play at night, pong by lantern light or headlamp can be tricky!!

I didn't even think of the whole lighting thing. I'm going to have to get some laterns, thanks for the reminder!

if you love beer pong you will surely love dodgebeer!
the game goes like this: take your beirut (beerpong) table, and instead of using 6/10 cups in pyramids just put one beer on each of the 4 table corners. (this is a 2v2 game btw) the beers are best if cans but bottles also work, they just reQuire more skill .
the objective is to hit the opponents can. once you do this you can start chugging your own beer until they can retreive the ball and place it on the top of their beer so that the ballwont fall off, then you must stop drinking. the way to win is for both partners to finish their beers first.
it gets pretty crazy chasing the ball around, and you can get some nifty teamwork with passes going lol. i played in in a lake once on a floating table, was pure madness!
