I was wondering since they had bought the land last year and i know there was a lot of talk about them putting permanent structures in last year if anything has been done or any new rumors flying around as to if anything new or permanent is comming/being built... not that i would ever want to change my precious roo too much tho

Ooh, I was thinking of starting a thread to ask the same thing. I'm really curious to see what (if anything) they might do in the way of permanent structures now that Superfly has bought the farm (literally!) Although my mother pointed out that if they had anything up there permanently, they would need year-round security of some sort to keep out squatters and destructive types who might like a piece of the stage as a souvenir.
if i find that thread from last year about all of the dreams we had about permanent structures, i'll put up a link. that was a great thread. i'm talking strip clubs, water parks... we wanted them to put up all kinds of stuff.
Unfortunately up to this point there has been nothing built structurewise. I understand that they have been doing some infastructure upgrading like water run off and land grading and such.
I am still hoping they turn it into a concert venue and take Starwood's place for the middle TN summer concert series.

Well one thing to note is it would actually be much more expensive for them to build the permanant what stage than to rent it. That said I'd love some indoor air conditioned bathrooms and showers! I also think they would make a KILLING with an air conditioned full-service restaurant - it would always be booked!

They need a gigantic maze, that would be so confusing.
I CAN HEAR YOU PHIL & FRIENDS... I'M COMING... DAMMIT ANOTHER DEAD END!!!
You better believe as soon as I can you are getting karma...cause oh god that is exactly what would happen haha....it would be a big cluster f*ck of scared people.....eventually somone would just break through the barrier and that would be the end of the maze......
I have a great story about mazes...to long so edit version. Took my kids and a bunch of their friends to a haunted corn maze. There were two paths one which was scary and one which was just the maze..not scary. Well someone broke down the barrier somewhere along the maze and we ended up in the scary. Long story short I am running out of a corn maze with kids hanging all over me and screaming "we're sorry we took the wrong turn" And two dudes chasing us out with chain saws.... fucking hilarious, had to be there!

As my Inebriated buddy walks out of the Porto, he yells out, "Dude...I love this place...bonnaroo thinks about everything...they even put beer holders next to the toilet!"
Had to break it to him that that was the urnal. Good times good times!

that would be awesome...but i know i'd probably be one of those people that would try it when im pretty drunk and keep walking around in circles...
I wouldn't be able to stay away from it for two reasons: 1) It would be f*ing hilarious to watch the confused, inebriated, and otherwise messed up people trying to get through it, and 2) I can't find my way out of a damn paper bag, so I'd probably be stuck for hours anyway.

Especially in tent only with that god almighty bright light in your face, trying not to trip through multiple tents. Good times though when you finally find your tent.
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."

I suppose the security wouldn't be to much of a problem dont the keep the arch and fountain up year round. I see pictures from roo of structures that I never seen. I think they may change stuff up from year to year like the art on the fountain?

well this thread is a little unrealistic...so i'm going to throw in some realistic things that super fly is actually building..i should know..
they're definitely building a carousel, and someone said a water slide...that's very close. but they're actually building an entire water park with a lazy river that goes in and around the whole farm. my inside sources also mentioned a bumper car arena. all in all, not too many changes but it should be a fun time on the farm.
oh yeah i totally forgot the lazar tag place they're building!
