I'd bring a couple extra fuses for the the car's cig lighter circuit as 200W is about at the limit. If it overheats and blows you'll want those 50 cent fuses as it may also control other items like wipers, blimkers, brake lights.
Also check the inverter periodocally so it doesn't overheat. And remember that the longer the ext cord the more watts it takes to overcome the extra resistance so use the shortest cord possible.
You're freaking awesome. I love engineers. I'd give you Karma if I knew how to do it.
not exactly the thought that went through my head - more like "watch out GEEK alert" LMAO

^ I disagree.
and as for how hot it was in the tent. I had an air matress that has some goofy fabirc on the top (makes it hotter) I would just keep rolling over in my own puddles of sweat. My friends were in awe of how I could sleep until 9 30. I'd get outta the tent and think it was a "cool" morning even though it was 88 degrees already. And it must have been atleast 100 in my tent...
eaten alive by what? grasshoppers??? seriously - I don't think I ever saw any mosquitos - just little spiders in the camp area and that was the first year - last year I did not even see those

I have to argue to bring the bug spray with at this point "just in case." I don't remember ever being bitten by a bug at Bonnaroo. I did see one gigantic spider in '06. I don't think he could have eaten me alive, though.
i didn't see any bugs last year and i even brought a can of OFF..im bringing it again this year just in case i need it. but you know if i didn't, then those bugs be everywhere...
There's no combination of words I could put on the back of a postcard. No song that I could sing. But I can try for your heart Our dreams, and they are made out of real things Like a, shoebox of photographs With sepiatone loving Love is the answer
A little feeling in my gut that I get of late when I think about these cats running the world with hate
As far as mosquitos go I am sure they are there, but it is not like there are enough of them that live full time in Manchester to bother 80,000+ folks.
ew could you imagine 80,000+ mosquitos? hahaha...i just can't but imagine the cartoons from when i was little where the big swarm of bees would chase one of the characters

Mosquitos didn't bother me at all the last two years, but it was very dry. Of course, I would actually pity any bug that took a sip of my blood after Thursday night.
in the mornings we'd be awoken by the heat.. we'd just get up and take a blanket into centeroo and sleep the rest of the morning under a tree in an open expanse.. being so empty in the early am there was generally a nice breeze and we always slept well.
saw a few people would sleep underneath the tent that has sand (cant remember which one)
So I bought of the cheap reflective emergency blankets from target at 2 for a dollar. I plan on using a 12x12 easy up and lining the top and making three sides with these, and hopefully getting a second layer with about a 6 inch difference using my car. I am hoping my mylar "cave" works out well I think it will be much better than a tent.
Looks like a Japanese Beetle to me...used to get a million of 'em in my pool growing up...
Japanese beetles are about 1/2 the size of June bugs, have more bronze coloring on them and come out (usually) in late June while June bugs come out in early June.
Jap beetle - ~ 3/8 -1/2 in long June bugs ~ 3/4 in long
But you are correct, they could be Japanese beetles

I've used these before and they work well. But they can hold heat in also so make sure you have air flow.
Thanks. I need some more of these. I'm going to Target today.
^ Yeah I think the key is going to be facing the opening opposite the rising sun, I have not figured out a way for airflow that will not compromise the waterproofing of the design. Hmm maybe cut out three sides of a window so I can duct tape it closed in case of rain. Also not on the cool but the comfort factor I went to loews today to buy lumber to make a simple bed frame that will support a futon mattress, also I picked up an old funky looking oriental rug from the salvation army. My "cave" is gonna rock.
