1. Do the Evolution - (the hardest rockin'est song ive ever seen live) 2. State of Love and Trust (seen PJ a dozen times and this song keeps eluding me. maybe roo??) 3. Crazy Mary (especially the last few tours with the Boom adding the keys)
On theskyiscrape.co they did a marchmadness pearl jam song tournament. i think black beat out corduroy in the finals.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
Fave songs: 1. Alive (never before I saw them in Philly last year- but that version changed my mind) 2. State of Love & trust 3. Long-ass versions of Daughter live that include covers of "the Wall," or "Save it For Later" 4. Do the Evolution
Fave covers: Promised Land Sonic Reducer Harvest Moon
Yep-- that was the show... if you think it was weird to hear on the bootleg, it was 10x weirder actually being there-- and was 5th row near a speaker and it shook my very being when the noise came. I thought Eddie had a stroke.

when exactly did they sell out? and what is your definition of selling out? just wondering..although i do like the "bring on the smiting" attitude. and you are not alone, there are ALOT of pearl jam haters out there.

he might be referring to them giving up on their anti-ticketmaster crusade... which I would hardly call selling out. By the way, I'm not that huge of PJ fan, but I give them HUGE props for at least trying to stand up against ticketmaster. I HATE ticketmaster with the white-hot intensity of a thousand suns.
And note that they can and have let an entire show get sold out of fan club tickets outside of ticketmaster. The only way they went back was for the public sales. It was a necessary evil if they ever wanted to tour again.
The real shame is that so few with their following stood up with them.

yeah i hear ya. the show I'm going to see tonight is a prime example of why ticketmaster sucks so hard... Sound Tribe Sector 9 at the house of blues. Ticket face value is $18. You can get tickets at the HOB box office ($20 total) OR through ticketmaster ($31.50 total) $2 is for the facility fee. The remaining $11.50 is for ticketmaster's "convenience" and "processing" fees.
