Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I have taken the liberty of posting the small tent/club and comedians for Roo this year. If you find a date/time please feel free to post here. This is what I have thus far:
i tried it and the first page of results looked and acted fine (photos loaded, links worked) but on the subsequent results pages, the photos didn't load and the links didn't work
Nice Find! I Think those are the magic words to type in for myspace as far bonnaroo searches go, I just wish i can get it to work on my comp. I have a feeling there might be one or two more in there.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
I think this is going to be our offical smaller tent/club thread. Might as well change the name of the thread while I am at it. Anyways, here are two Tennessee bands :

i missed all these club shows last year. I gotta be sure to check these out this year. I typically go to small shows so a weekend at the roo gets me jonesin to see some acts close up and personal
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it

This was by far my favorite addition to the festival last year. I loved walking into these "cafe" tents to discover really, really good up and coming regional talent. No doubt that these bands will live up to last year. Can't wait to see Infradig!
I just saw these kids last night!!! They had a 4/20 show in Knoxville, very badass band. Their playing style is like hard-jamathon stuff with slashing guitar solos and crazy beats. I urge people to check them out. I'll definately be there dancing my ass off. Very danceable band too!!

I heard Abigail Washburn is playing one of the smaller tents though it isn't on her myspace calendar. She just played the Blue Plate special (a hour long live, instudio radio broadcast) here in Knoxville last week and she was incredible. She plays old thyme Appalachian music and often in Chinese. It's very unique and intriguing. From what I gather, she and Bela Fleck are dating....which, leads me to believe that he may be making a guest appearance for her set at the Roo!!!

Also American Minor is playing on Friday per their MySpace page.
These guys might be a main stage as well, as they are currently opening for Drive By Truckers and are on a high profile label. Good stuff. Check it out.
