I'm still determined that Jenny Lewis (possibly with the Watson Twins) will be added. Their new album has been getting massive promotion AND when Rilo Kiley played last year they/she were amazing. PLUS she is the third member (the Jenny mentioned above) of the Postal Service, so that would make a Postal Service appearance even more likely since Death Cab is already there.
hahah oh ya! someone from rilo kiley used to be on salute your shorts...budnick is my memory serves me correctly; he was also john connors friend in terminator 2
this is so sad that i still know this, but it was one of my favorite nickelodeon shows (along with Hey Dude)... budnick was the fat kid, blake was pinsky, who only showed up in the second season, he replaced the blond kid michael. yup, i'm a dork

Wasn't budnick the red haired skinny guy and the fat guy was donkey lips?

And I'm in love with her. So I'm really hoping
I agree. Also, Jenny Lewis & The Watsons' tour ends at the end of April.. so hm. Besides, Jenny is also friends with Conor (Bright Eyes), so since Ben & Conor will both be there, she should go too.
Also, I read an articale over on listserve about Greyboy All-Stars and that they were not asked to play. I think we can cross them off the list as well .

One of last years most exciting additions to the Bonnaroo experience will be with us again in '06, the Café Stages. These stages recreate the intimacy of seeing your favorite (or soon to be favorite) band in a small club environment.
Over 30 artists from around the country (and Germany!) bring their diverse styles to these two tents. Sounds ranging from Jam to Indie to Bluegrass and everything in-between will add to the already eccentric line up of this year's festival. Be prepared for anything, as rumors of special guests already abound.

VORZCA IS PLAYING??? How did I miss that?? That's Ray Paczkowski's (keyboard player from Trey band, Dave & Friends) trio, and they are SICK. The really don't need to be confined to a cafe stage.
Color me surprised on this one... He used to be a much bigger draw. That said, sometimes they play two different sets in those tents- so maybe double dose of Bobby Bare Jr.!

Holy crap!!! If lucero is going to be there that is awesome. They are an amazing band. I just got their cd "That Much Farther West" and it is great. I can pray!!!
This cafe announcement really deflated my hopes of a round 6. Maybe it will have an artist in residence (perhaos Scofield?), and two or three small acts, if that.
I hope they actually do have many special guests. I was really excited last year that they made it a point to make Herbie the "artist in residence" and then I didn't see him at all the entire festival. I saw more shows last year than any other year too.
There will definitely be a Round 6... and maybe Round 7. My guess is two more "traditional" Artist Additions for four bands each, or one big one with eight.

Holy Crap I'm so happy!!! Zac Brown is great!!! ;D
i dont think CSNY will be at Bonnaroo...but its awesome news to hear they are touring this summer!
This and the discussion about Is Pearl Jam waiting to announce until after they've sold more tickets on their own tour, and all of a sudden this morning...
I'm at CSNY.com looking to get tickets to their Bay Area show, and thinking, if I knew they were going to be at Bonnaroo would I be shelling out $76 each for the third-class tickets (let alone the $110 or $201 tickets)? Probably not. Not that Bonnaroo-goers would make a dent of a difference in ticket sales in the Bay Area, but it might not be so far-fetched for nervous tour management to risk those dollars evaporating. $201 for CSNY vs $185 for all of Bonnaroo?
