1. radiohead 2. phou superjam 3. amadou and mariam!!!! 4. phil & friends, even though i left early and listened to the end of it from a distance 5. ramble dove, hard decision for the 5 spot but RD did not disapoint.
honarable mention:
oysterhead claypool andrew bird motet (only was able to catch a little bit) wood brothers (only was able to catch a little bit)
Rusted Root - The "When I Woke" stuff still gets me going RRFB - Best guitar player I saw Donovan Frankenreiter - First time I saw him - 70's rock throwback Beck - funky!! Petty - loved to hear Mike Campbell and Petty is slowly morphing into Bob Dylan
I think my first three are fairly solid -- after that, the greatness is hard to number.
1. Radiohead (F*ck) 2. Marah (Feather Boa>Baba O'Riley>Feather Boa...shazaam!) 3. Steve Earle (Allison Moorer came out, I was right on top of the stage, got to meet him)
-Bright Eyes (all the guests were great) -Devotchka -Dungen -Be Your Own Pet
I really didn't see anything I'd consider less than "really good" all weekend. CYHSY was the only mild disappointment.

1. Radiohead - An unbelievable set. It's all been said already 2. Umphrey's McGee - I've seen them 7 times and this may have been their best show. Words made me explode. 3. Death Cab for Cutie - Again, the best I've seen them play. We Looked Like Giants and Transatlanticism would've gotten them some new jam band fans if they werent all at oysterhead, who i heard weren't too good at all. 4. Dungen - should've been late night. 5. Brothers Past - surprise of the weekend for me. Their guitarist is friggin phenomenal.
Honorable -MMJ: caught the last hour - great as usual; wish I'd seen the whole thing, but Umphrey's tore it up too. -Nickel Creek: another surprise. Chris Thile is amazing. -Matisyahu: Great show. His band can really play, and he puts lots of passion into his show. -MMW: Some funky groove jazz. If only Scofield had sat in. I was so expecting this to happen, i was real disappointed, but it was still a sick set. Oliver Wood is no Sco but he's good. Lots of others but I can't list them all. -Andrew Bird had some great songs, especially his "new" ones. Talented mfer.
With out a doubt the best single day in Bonnaroo history was Sat.......I have been to all 5 and Sat was unbelievable...
My top 5 were
1 Radiohead......they are the gold standard of todays rock n roll 2 G.R.A.B. ......they just sold a shitload of tickets for this summer $$$$$$$$$$ 3 MMJ.......my favorite band blew us all away Fri night 4 The Cat Empire.....Very high energy and they made the most of the short time slot they were given 5 Nickle Creek or MOE. I really enjoyed the hell out of both.....
Honorable Mention Cat Power and Memphis Rythm Section Umphre's On the Sonic Stage Buddy Guy
And my most favorite non music moment had to be at the Cinema Tent when the USA was playing Italy.....It was like a freaking riot had broken out.....everyone, including myself just wanted to watch the game...they brought in like 12 horses!!!!!!!!! Freaking Idiots!!
1) The Duo with Trey and Gordon~ great glowstick war, was down to the left of the Sound board what a way to roll. 2) Robert Randolph with G Love seating in. I know most people saw Oyster Head but my god Robert was on Fire. 3) Buddy Guy 4) Bela Fleck!!!! 5) My Morning Jacket
Honorable Mention Moe. Grace Potter, Radiohead... not a huge fan but it was a great show. Tom Petty, and Phil Lesh..Shakedown Street was insane
Craziest moment was the dust devil that trashed my campsite. Did anyone else see this? It broke both of our canopeys. We had to mix and match peices from both to have some shade.

what camp were you at...we were by pod 8 and I got 2 pictures of two different tents just flying through the air, and then this dust tornado forms, it was insane. I can't imagine not being at camp and coming back to find your tent missing, or find it laying upside down on somebody elses campsite (which we saw as we left for centeroo that day.
1. Radiohead - BON-AY-REW! killer sound, killer stage lighting. "Exit Music" gave me serious goosebumps, when it started with just Thom and his acoustic. too bad they couldn't get the fscking monitors to work right. sorry to people way in the back of the house. I can't even say enough good things about this set. Much love to the trooper in our crew who staked our spot early in the day.
2. Beck - having not seen him perform live since Mellow Gold was new, I really wasn't sure what to expect, and was pleasantly surprised. I missed the first couple songs of the set due to some much-needed nappage, and it was still good enough to be #2. The puppets were awesome, somebody find me a copy of the movie they ran during set break, please! Did they play "Nicotine and Gravy?"
3. Umphrey's - I saw their 40 minute set on the Sonic Stage, but it was just ridiculous. Brendan and Jake tore it up on "Bridgeless." wow.
4. Ben Folds - Holy schnikeys was it hot! Saw this one from the VIP bleachers. I'm not a Mike Skinner fan, but thought his guest appearance during "Bit.ches Ain't Shiz" was cool. And I loved how Ben got the audience to help sing, especially during "Army"
5. My Morning Jacket - glad I stuck to my guns and caught this show instead of drifting to Umphrey's McBiscuit. I was dead tired Friday night, about to fall where I was standing, but couldn't get more than like 100 yards away from the crowd before they drew me back in for a few more songs. It took me three tries to break away and head back to camp.
honorable mention to: Oysterhead, Devotchka, Mike Doughty, Soulive, moe.

1. MMJ.....Jimi James was a frickin tornado..Now THAT was a ROCK show.
2. Malkmus..a genius on top of his game. 3. Radiohead..awesome as usual 4. Oysterhead..first half hour was unreal. 5. Sue Jorge..completely out of nowhere for me. 6. DR. John..nighttripper, nuff said 7. Superjam (GRAB)..nice to hear some new mike/trey stuff.
1) Sonic Youth - best show I have ever seen, the noise breakdown at the end of pattern recognition was mindblowing, and SM singing expressway to yr skull was the most amazing thing i have ever seen. SY and 2/5ths of Pavement, what could be better?
2) Radiohead - wanted to see these guys live since my dad got me the bends when I was 9 yrs old in 1995, was everything I had hoped for
3) Malkmus - Ive never been as into his solo stuff but seeing steve live was still awesome
4) Dungen - I've seen these guys live 3 times now and while they played a good show they were not as good as the 2 previous times, the sound seemed a little off at the beginning too
5) Devandra Banhart - great show, the guest singer part was great
1. umph/bisco the single greatest thing i have ever witnessed outside of the birth of my son! 2. GRAB- superjam 3. ivan nevilles dumpstaphunk 4. radiohead 5 toubab krewe
1) Radiohead 2) The Streets 3) Amadou & Mariam 4) Buddy Guy 5) Petty & the Heartbreakers
Surprise Set of the Fest: Electric Eel Shock
Really, the Streets, Radiohead and Amadou & Mariam were pretty much head and tails above every other set I saw at the fest in my book (and I only saw one disappointing set). All three sets had very different vibes though.

#1. MMJ - 1 word....AMAZING
#2. Sasha - He worked the crowd so hard, that even with the sun in the sky and dead tired, we would have stayed another hour if he would have kept spinning.
#3. Radiohead - They played everything I had hoped they would, AND some.
#4. dios (malos) - The sound of them pulled me halfway across centeroo to see them. I had never heard of them till now, but that guy's voice gave me chills.
#5. Robert Randolph - Even though it was in the heat and daylight, Randolph made me dance my butt off. I liked the vibe and intensity that he had.
its really hard to rank these cause all of the shows were awesome, so really this isnt a top five, but like #1 parts a, b, c, d, and e.
