The Köln Concert [LIVE] Keith Jarrett
Spent quite a number of winter nights listening to this, I've enjoyed it, however I find many do not. To conclude, my music taste could possibly suck and most likely it does.

^^^I suppose I can't comment on whether your, my or anyone else's taste sucks, but I will say that I also love that album. So I certainly have my opinions.

Thank you steveternal !
As an older person, This album came out in 1975 and I was listening to it then. This album represents a specific time in my youth and equally as important, from my veiw, as any Dead Album.
That's all I've got to say about that, So thank you very much! ClarkGriswold

i'm suprised at some of the albums i've seen at the library - i've gotten every ryan adams cd's there, i've gotten like 5 or 6 tom waits albums there, i don't really like the rolling stones but the other day i must have seen 10-15 different albums by them - however they also have a lot of crap too like britney spears, the boy bands - the worst part is that it's not too organized - i mean they have it all in sections like rock, country, jazz, blues etc. but the new releases are kept the most organized - so i usually spend like a half hour looking through everything there - they even have a ton of bands that have played roo over the years - there's a nice yonder mountain string collection, they also have a little local music - i'm suprised i've never heard artists complaining about libraries carrying their music, you hear it all the time from people being able to download it online for free - sure, the only way i go about getting music now is if its free, but i've been to hundreds of shows, the majority of the clothes i wear are band t-shirts, the back of my car is covered in stickers - so i'm supporting them, but who's gonna pass on getting free music? another note - most people i see at the library aren't looking through cd's - however, there was this much-older-than-me couple (probably about 50-60, i'm only 26) looking through cd's and they started naming off bands they thought they might check out - as they were naming bands i was kind of listening to them and i had a little smile on my face - i heard them say wilco, ryan adams, john prine, richard thompson, gillian welch, white stripes, rolling stones, yonder mountain, north miss. allstars - the list went on, so anyways they picked up wilco's kicking television live in chicago cd, and i just kind of said, you have to get that, that album is fucking awesome, and it was recently on rolling stones list of greatest live albums ever, so they got it, and then i just kind of mentioned bonnaroo to them, i was just like yeah i saw a lot of those bands you mentioned at this festival called bonnaroo, and they never heard of it, so i gave them the website address, and i just feel good talking to people old enough to be my parents and having the same music interests as me
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
