In somewhat particular order...
1) The Police ;D - unlike Van Halen, I think they'll actually make it through the summer unscathed - poor Diamond Dave... 2) The White Stripes 3) North Mississippi All-Stars 4) Widespread Panic 5) The Roots - not sure if they were in the initial lineup though 6) Clutch - the one time I did see them, I had to listen to them in Ziggy's parking lot in Winston-Salem due to my friend deciding to knock out some skinhead in the mosh pit earlier - kind of like a live CD I guess, and I got to see one guy with a pool stick chase another in the street who had a bar stool 7) Ween - the one time I did see them, I was seeing all sorts of things, but the show was really good... that or at least the things were really good.... 8) Wilco 9) Old Crow Medicine Show 10) String Cheese Incident
The cool thing is I'm looking forward to seeing (and hearing) a lot of these bands that I'm totally unfamiliar with. I can't wait to see what bands I become a fan after checking out their live show - I love pleasant unexpected musical surprises.
"Stealing? How could you?! Haven’t you learned anything from that guy who gives those sermons at church? Captain What’s-his-name? We live in a society of laws. Why do you think I took you to all those Police Academy movies? For fun? Well, I didn’t hear anybody laughin’, did you? Except at that guy who made sound effects. Where was I? Oh yeah -- stay out of my booze."
