Assuming some manifestation of les will be added, which would you rather see? Personally I'd like to see the fancy band again, but I have no problem seeing Primus.

Definitely Primus, Les is good solo and all....but I like the chemistry between the Primus bandmates, plus I've been hoping for a Primus late night since 04.

Totally....the man can do no harm...in my view...but as a huge Primus fan from way back, I can never get enough of them. The '04 late night was so wonderful, but I'd even take them in the daytime.
PRIMUS!!! i saw them at the tower last year and they rocked, but i wasn't a huge fan of the scene......i'd love to see them at roo where the crowd is a little more chill like me:-)

I cant imagine a Roo without Les so Im totally hoping he gets added QUICK! Jay Lane is the drummer for Ratdog and also the drummer for the Fancy Band....so hopefully we will see a Claypool announcement soon. Truthfully I dont care which one gets added as long as Les is there!
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
With the touring schedule of the Police, there's not a chance in hell of Oysterhead appearing. They'll probably leave pretty much as soon as their set is over, and they have a long trip ahead of them before Roo.
Primus would be a really interesting band to put right before Tool, although I think the chance that you'd get a more aggressive group of fans increases proportionally to each heavy act that's added. Maybe if they added them way down the line, after most the tickets are bought. For now, I'm content with the Fancy band or C2B3.
I cant believe Bucket of Bernie Brains hasn't been mentioned!!
I saw buckethead live for the first time at vegoose last year and it was amazing. He was with Bill Laswell as Praxis, but Bernie and the Brain were with them, and dont get me wrong, Laswell ROCKED!!!
But I would love to see Bucket on stage with The Colonel!
No. Primus late night. Les Claypool at the Superjam.
I am feeling that.
I have seen C2B3 and Flying Frog Brigade multiple times, and saw Fancy Band for the first time last year, which was an unbelievable show last year..... But late night Primus '04 at Bonnaroo was one of the greatest shows I have seen in the five years I have attended 'Roo.
I want to see them late night again BADBADBAD!
But I will be happy with anything as long as Les is laying down some Heat on the Bass.
Bonnaroo without Les is like a day without sunshine. ( In best John Wayne voice )

Sorry to let you folks down, but I wouldnt count on C2B3....... Ever again. At least not what it was.
Last major news to hit the net about that band was that they would probably never play again due to a situation that developed between Les and Bernie Worrell.
Disappointed me greatly to read that as they could easily replace Bernie, but it literally wouldnt sound close, the jams would be lackluster, etc. Bernie is a very unique talent. If anyone ever gets a chance to see him and the Woo Warriors jump right on it.

It'd be cool if Praxis and Primus signed. Then Les could come out with Praxis and do some C2B3 tunes, Brain could come out with Primus and do some Brown Album/Antipop. Plus we got Tom Morello with Nightwatchmen, did guitar on 2 or 3 cuts from Antipop. Brain-era Primus feat. Morello...that would rule.
Count me in the Primus camp. I saw them last year at the Tabernacle in Atlanta, and although it was a great show and they played a good set list, it was only like 11 or 12 songs. I kinda felt like I got the shaft because those tickets were close to $50 (w/fees) and I only got about 1.25 hours of Primus. I would definitely enjoy a longer late night set.

Thats the exact reason why I didnt purchase the $60-75 tickets. I actually lucked out with that decision. My friends where reaming me about it until they came back that night and met me at the bar. Ive always said NY has some sh*tty fans, they always seem to get way too rowdy for the wrong acts. 5-6 songs into the Roseland show the crowd destroyed the barrier. Les walked off stage pissed, came back on did 2 songs and left pissed as hell. Very glad I didnt attend.
