Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Listening to BANG, BANG, BANG right now.......actually diggin it.I'm shocked The Whigs are playing a cafe stage........they're really big in Athens, but I thought they were getting well known nationally.
I can not believe no one is talking about Rocco DeLuca. This guy is smokin' hot. I saw him open for Robert Randolph last fall and he kicks butt. He plays a Dobro like I have never seen before. This guy is going to be a star and you have the chance to see him before he gets big. Don't miss this guy!

Alex Ray Joel - that's Billy's daughter in case anyone didn't know. Heard a few good things about her new album, but only actually listened to 1 track; very Norah Jones-ish, IMHO.
Great. Now Billy's going to show up drunk and flip one of his Vettes into the Bonnaroo Arch.
I was born in the back seat of a Yellow Cab in a hospital loading zone and with the meter still running. I emerged needing a shave and shouted 'Time Square, and step on it!

Tim Fite is offering his new album, entirely free via hes website. He falls in the hip hop catagorie, sounds a lot like atmosphere with the corcky whiteboy spirit of Aesop Rock!!

;D
I grew up on Long Island. A place were even if you live on the 2nd floor of a home, you still have to worry about Billy Joel becoming airbourne in a red Corvette and slaughtering your entire family. Still got nothing but love for him. It always makes for an interesting morning paper.

I am so excited that Jonah Smith got added!! If you have never heard him before you have to check him out now. I am sure that he will be one of the hidden gems at roo this year.
i saw dave barnes a couple months ago and he's alright. whatever small venue he plays in will be packed though cause he's got a pretty sizeable following in this area. for instance, my sisters are both wanting to go to bonnaroo because of dave barnes alone.

Just to make sure....these bands will actually be there playing, right? Not just some little tent thing that is playing their music?
Also, if they are playing there, what is this area like? (How big are the tents they are playing in and are they hard to get into...cause I really want to see Rocco DeLuca!)

I find Bang Bang Bang to be a Kings of Leon ripoff, in look, song style, and location. IMO, they are KoL without the interesting backstory or musicianship/attitude.

Cafe Tents are about the size of a beer tent at your typical local fest. I'd say a graduation like tent-tarp set up you see at parties or family reunions. Definitly a great aspect of the roo. These shows are iintimate and nice. The last band playing before the headliners at the Jack Daniels tent (way back - main stage) always rocks, and its cool to see a crowded little venue with a band playing what possibly is their biggest show of their carear so far!
I haven't heard about any of the cafe artits but plan on checking out several of them, nothing like falling in love with a band hearing them live for the first time

Saw Dubconscious last night at 420 Fest in Atlanta. If you like reggae/dub, these guys DO NOT DISSAPOINT! It was a blast. Looking forward to seeing them during Bonnaroo.

Ahh Dubconscious, the 420 Fest and the Five Spot, highlight of my week!!! Did I hear it right..they will have the trombone player from Cadillac Jones on tour with them at Bonnaroo?!?!?
If for some insane reason you don't want to see Damien Rice, The Hold Steady, Xavier Rudd, or Fountains of Wayne, please check out Manchester Orchestra. They're just heavenly acoustic and rock music. That's where I will be, sadly not seeing the others, who I have seen more recently (except Rudd, who I'll try to catch a bit of).
