I had to vote for The Police simply because I have loved them since I was first able to legally drink a beer. WSP I love also, but unlike The Police, I have seen them before.
"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it Inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed Fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio." -Hunter S. Thompson

None of the above. This year's headliners are the reason that many see 07 as an off year for Bonnaroo.
Perhaps I'm not one of the many (but perhaps that's a good thing) but I am quite excited about this year's headliners (except WSP), as was I for last year's (except Phil Lesh). before 2006, the only headliner I was excited to see at Bonnaroo was Neil Young. Of course the headliners are never the reason I go to Roo every year, nut it is nice to actually see a couple headliners I am excited about, instead of the WSP/Dave/Trey/Dead/Trey/Dave/WSP/Dead/WSP/WSP ad nauseum.
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it

THE WHITE STRIPES! I've seen them in concert twice before and they put on a hell of a show. Plus...Jack White. He's number one on my lists of guys I can sleep with and my boyfriend can't be mad. He's a bigger TWS fan than I am....that being said, both Meg White and Lily Allen are on his list, so I better watch out.

Tool. hands down. it's been a lifelong dream of mine to see tool. it's the mood they provide. i get something from tool, i don't get from any other band. i'm also hoping to see a good glowstick war during their set. oh man just thinking about that gives me a bonna-boner.
The Police - I'm a ska/reggae guy myself, and these guys are just legends. I'm looking forward to getting an opportunity to interview them at a Roo Press Conference.
