When did simple gang warfare become complicated with all this talk of revolution and putting people up against walls?
And when did a wall actually show up?
And why is Radiohead suddenly leading this revolt? What happened to MJ?
Why am I so scared?
Well, it's a funny story, really...
The revolution came up because us innocent, hardworking 'roogoers weren't about to be bossed around by two random gangs that think they can just stroll into Manchester and take over. Fuck that.
The wall was erected on the fifth day of the third month. It now stays firm, high, proud. It is a representation of everything The Revolution stands for. It is proud! It is powerful! It means death to all naysayers of The Revolution!
Radiohead is only the second in command. MJ liked Thom Yorke's lazy eye and thus gave them leadership on the field of combat. MJ himself, he runs things from his office in Neverland. Making orders, coming up with battleplans, etc... MJ will only make his triumphant return to us, his people, when the time comes. (Psst. It's not the time.)
And why are you scared? Wouldn't be because you're a GANG MEMBER, would it?!
I found out who should lead the emo kids in there mighty gang war....this girl is the one...she rules all that is emo if you wanna laugh your sweet ass off....watch this....http://videos.humpingfrog.com/14363/2006/04/emo-girl-puts-the-emo-in-emo.html

I don't know what is more disturbing, the fact that some people (people in a position of authority, that is) seem to be totally unable to identify blatant, sarcastic, over-the-top, toungue-in-cheek irony...or this JACKASS Sheriff saying that they have the right to "SHOOT, KILL & HANDCUFF" concert goers!!!! Wich sounds like more of a threat?...Stoner music fans traveling half-way across the country to spend months worth of paychecks in this crappy little town...Or is it these oblivious tough-guys who feel the need to remind everyone of what little power they have with empty, VIOLENT threats??????

You realize that article is a joke, right? Ya know, it's not real...tongue in cheek.

Yes, I do realize it's a joke. I realize it's a comment on the absurdity of the "danger" that some people feel is imminent when a large group of seriously (counter-culture, druggie, hippy, weirdo, whatever) devoted music fans gather in a small country town. I realize very few people are in danger of actually being killed this or any year at Bonnaroo. I also realize that many people in a position of power (police, for instance) in Manchester feel that it's alright to profile, pick-on and intimidate concert goers simply because of their percieved "freakiness", basing alot of their attitudes on uneducated assumptions and laughable stereotypes. I was only trying to build on this by presenting an equally alarmist response. A sarcastic expression of our fears and ignorance towards "them", if you will. You know, tounge-in-cheek?
I'm truly sorry for any offense or confusion.
