Muse and Modest Mouse should be added. not too small not too big, just right.
After looking at Modest Mouse's schedule on their website, it seems they're going to be overseas the entire month of June so sadly this doesn't seem possible unless they make a quick trip back and forth just for bonnaroo.
I'm still holding onto predictions of The Mars Volta, though.
From what I gather from the Schedulogy thread, it looks like there might be room for a big time band for Friday late night. If they open up the which stage for the Lips on Saturday, they should have it open Friday night as well, although SCI or Manu Chao could fit the late night Which stage, which would open up day spots. Also it looks like Saturday has a spot open and Sunday might have two or three spots open. There are five bands that still have to be placed on a specific day, so they could easily fill those spots.
Now for some more in depth analysis. Last year this is how it played out: Thursday - 12 bands Friday - 25 bands (including late nights and counting Common/Lyrics Born/Blackalicious as three separate acts) Saturday - 28 bands Sunday - 20 bands
Now if you look at the Unofficial Schedule Thread for 2007 - Thursday - 13 bands (this leads me to believe that Thursday might be a little bigger than last year, and could have more additions) Friday - 22 bands Saturday - 22 bands Sunday - 19 bands
And then you have to add the bands that are not assigned to a date yet: Franz Ferdinand Aesop Rock T-Bone Burnett The New Orleans Klezmer Allstars Yard Dogs Road Show Now of the above five bands, it is most likely that only three of them will be taking official spots, with Yard Dogs and NO Klezmer Allstars, having their own tent like the Preservation Hall Tent from last year. That means that there are three extra bands with, ten spots left to take. Additionally, if we get as lucky as we can, we might get which stage late nights, which will add two more spots. So that means that there could be up to twelve open spots with only three bands to fill them. Which leaves nine open spots for additions. Some of these spots should be filled with bigger acts, and we know that Gift of Gab will be there as well.
I know that this is a simplified way of looking at things (by only comparing to last year) but it looks good for some more additions. Anyways, my hopes for additions -
Boards of Canada (I know it will not happen, but I can dream) Kinky Wu-Tang Public Enemy Underworld TV on the Radio
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."
