Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Oh Oh I wanna play! of course it's the whole shebang that makes the festival great, but the following three made me swoon with joy when I saw them (so i'd be really sad if they were gone) Flaming Lips White Stripes Wilco
And to add: Arcade fire (just saw them the other night, yup still amazing in concert) tv on the radio radiohead (or broken social scene with ALL of the band members performing in exchange for any of those)
Man, that's awesome. I had no idea anyone at...the typical Bonn...hell, most people have no idea who Operation Ivy is. I never even considered that in the Bonnaroo scene, but that really would make an incredible small tent show.
Well, Moe Train's Tracks started as a punk/ska podcast (I'm a punk/ska musician myself). Lint aka Tim Armstrong, Matt Freeman, Lars Fredrikson and Dave Mello would be a showstopper. I never see it happening though. After Common Rider, you really didn't hear anything from Mello. Rancid's in the studio right now, and their new album should be out by fall.
I really don't consider myself the typical Roo attendee at all, but I think that will give a nice alternative perspective on the whole scene.
BTW, if Op Ivy ever did a reunion show, a small tent would be DESTROYED by the people in attendance. No way they could ever hold a show in that small of a venue anymore. Tim did just finish up his solo album (which is GREAT BTW) pretty recently. Dierks Bentley is an Epitaph band... which I thought was odd (though I think Rancid is on their own Hellcat label now)
I had never even heard of Operation Ivy till this thread....
I was in the coolest store in Little Five Points today (ATL) and they had a sale rack of band T's - local bands and old stuff like the Ramones and Hendrix...and what did they have but a couple of Operation Ivy T's for like $6! LOL! I grabbed one just in case they make a surprise reunion at 'Roo I'll be ready ;D

dierks bentley is total country. never would see him on epitaph. trying to picture the no use for a name/dierks bentley co headline tour... i would vote of an opivy reunion though....
