I think it is ridiculous that there is SCI,STS9, and Mago Feat/Medeski and Martin all @ the same time. I may just wander around to all of them.

Why does everyone think STS9 will play longer then cheese? when I've seen STS9 they've played for like 2 1/2 hours. Cheese plays anywhere from 3 to 3 1/2 hours normally.
I'm hoping cheese will play an epic midnight-sunrise show. Hell, bonnaroo will be the largest crowd they'll see before they break up so I'm definately expecting something extraordinary.
i am dissapointed by the sci sts9 conflict as well.... thankfully i bought tix to sci in july in CT so i can afford to miss them at the roo if i have to
I dunno about it being the worst conflict ever, but it's tough. Frankly, as has been said already, the Superjam conflict is just as big. Plus, the next night with FLips and Galactic is tough too.
Really, this year, a lot of the very best music is in the late night slots. Especially on Friday!

having not been familiar with sci's material beforehand and having heard so much about them, i was planning on hitting their set with virgin ears (not pre-listening) and being blown away. the conflict forced me to listen to some of their shows off the archive, and while i think i would have been blown away, i can't justify missing any of sts9's set now that i know. i won't rule out the possibility of catching some of the performance, but at this point its pretty unlikely.
i just need my electronica fix, its really as simple as that
