Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I thought they were good in 2005 at the Roo! And they seemed to have a huge following that night with plenty of people getting down. Wasn’t a George McConnel fan the past few years though, and I think he hurt them.
I am biased because I love Panic. But, I am in the same boat with Tool. I am not a Tool fan, but there are so many other things to do. Hang out with friends and have a good time. Relax and enjoy the night.
But in Panic's defense, they are a "live" band. They perform better live than on albums. And JB feels the music and you can hear that in the rhythm and when he sings.
Panic is not for everyone, but you shouldn't leave just cause you don't like them. There will be other memories made by just hanging out and having a good time. That is what Bonnaroo is all about.
And believe me, you won’t hurt anyone’s feelings, there will be plenty of people at the show seeing Panic and having an incredible time.
In response to thelowend, I've seen Jimmy Herring before, just not with WSP. I know of how great he is, and thus I am going to see Panic one more time (plus they are the only band playing). I just hope one great guitarist can really make that much of a difference that a band who has never impressed me can turn out a show that I think is that great.
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
I guess I'll do what I did for Tom Petty last year - just sit way in the back near the vendors (I sat in a hammock at a vendor's tent) and listen to the show mostly, no worry about getting a good spot or view. Even though Petty is one of my favorites, I mostly wanted to hear him, and I had already seen him earlier that year. Who knows, maybe I will like WSP's show.
personally am a huge panic fan but i understand how u could not like them. my advice is to check them out for a little bit just because of jimmy herring. the band has improved significantly since they replaced george with jimmy

It's the roo no matter who is playing and if you like them or not the place is like disney world you can always find some one, somewhere or something fun to do. Have seen WSP once since Jimmy Herring signed on and they jammed the whole show, can't wait to see what is instore for us on sunday so stop on by you never know what your gonna get until you get there.
Here is real good site for anyone who is intrested in listning to some WSP from this past spring tour. Lots of really great original songs along with some choice classic WSP covers. Enjoy and hope to see you getting down.
Did this new jimmy play on the chest fever track for endless highway? if so i am not interested in seeing them much either. Check out the cinema tent or waste some of your cash at the vendors.
I'm not sure why they're so popular with the Bonnaroo crowd. Maybe it's because I'm not stoned?
Thats why all the smitage has happened! I did not smite you, I am just pointing that out.
As far as WP, I WILL be there!! Definitely. As I have said so many time on here, they are a completely different band with Herring! If yo have not seen them live with Herring yet, dont miss it! He is great!

No. GMac played on that track.
"This new jimmy" is one of the very best guitar players in the world. He was in Aqurium Rescue Unit in the early/mid 90's and was part of the best version of Phil & Friends and in "The Dead". He also spent time in the Allman Brothers and a handful of other jazz and rock bands.

i'm disappointed in the schedule for not giving us at least 1 act aside from the headliners to choose from. i thought they did a great job last year by giving us that option. troo music lounge was the place to be last year during the headliners sets. oh well...
wow just listening to the link now and i am impressed and im only on the 3rd song...94 more to go. it sounds much better than the little i remember from 2005.
HAHA hysterical, keep smiting me because I made a statement that wasn't even meant to be offensive to the band or their fans. People will twist your words into whatever they want as long as it makes them angry they are satisfied.
