I am really digging the album.... It is not your typical White Stripes album, it took me about three listens to get into it...... I think Meg has been practicing..... There is actually some advanced drumming on the album... This album took the longest to complete for them... It took a whole 3 weeks! haha
The song Icky Thump is amazing live... Well, the band is amazing,...... period.
I can't wait to see them again... 3 times in one summer... Hell Yeah!
That's a crappy move by the radio station. They really didn't have a right to play it, and I'm sure someone is going to come down hard on that. Sure, it is creating hype for the album, but I think that is best left to marketing execs and that's who ultimately has a say. Not some yokel dj on Q101.
