I found out about 'roo because I wanted to see The Police... I was just a little too young to see them when they were still in the game. I tell ya Ive been worried that the old egos would surface and they'd end up cancelling all those shows. However I hope like hell that age has tempered these just a tad anyways.
Id be pretty bent if they were to cancel the show but it wouldnt ruin the entire time, thank god there are so many other great acts. Cant wait cant wait cant wait!!! Its our first time to Roo...these next 10 days are going to go so slow!

I think people are concentrating too much on The Police's past. The guys are adults now, and it seems they have taken a more relaxed approach to their music. I'm pretty confident that they all have found a good amount of humility and are gonna stick together however long they want.
I agree for the most part, except about the humility comment. Sting, from articles I've read and testimonials from other artists who have worked with him, is a pretty pompous, narcissistic sonuvabitch. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised of turmoil within the band again, just because of Sting.
This is true, i don't think Stings as bad as he was, but I'm sure he's still similar. I saw in a interview with him where he said to write before he had to feel like the tortured artist, and be sad to write. Now he says thats not the case, and he rather just be happy. So i think that will help some. Also i think with Andy's and especially Stewarts newfound humility they'll just be able to kinda laugh off Sting. ;D
Yah, they are gonna blow. They'll be awful. Stay away from their gig. In fact, drag your friends away, tell everyone you know that they are better off partying in the campground during their show.
That way those of us who worship three of the greatest musicians in the history of rock will have more room to get up close and bow down before Andy's brilliant guitar work, Sting's chilling vocals, and Stewart's legendary and world-famous drumming skills.
Whatever you do, don't take advantage of what may be your last opportunity to see one of the greatest bands in the history of rock. Nah, don't do that.
