I bought Tool tickets for Summerfest on July 4th the day I got back. NOW today I just realized that Rage Against The Machine are at Alpine Valley in August so I had to grab a couple of those for sure! I finally get to see one of the bands I thought I would never get to see live!! YESSWSSSSS!!!!

High Sierra Music Fest in Quincy, CA first weekend in July. Should be a good one!
Also hitting Sunday at Lollapalooza....couldn't miss out on Pearl Jam. If there ever was a perfect headliner for Roo....it'd be them. I'd almost guarantee they'd fill the 4 hour slot.

I desperately wanted to to to Bonnaroo this year...especially since I dislike the Lollapalooza line-up. At least Summerfest is in a few weeks! I still think Bonnaroo's line-up was by far the best of all the festivals this year.
I give Austin City Limits the award for best lineup this year, personally.
But I've heard voices not in the head Out in the air they called ahead Through ripped out speakers Through thick and thin They found a shelter Under my skin -Evgeny Aleksandrovitch Nikolaev
Loved My first Bonnaroo, also got to start off the festival year at SXSW......
July, I am laying low...recovering from ROO Aug- Lolla( my second one. Not as fun as Roo, but i have two sisters that live in Chicago, so free place to stay and excited about the line-up) Sept- ACL ( Our father lives in Austin, so another free place to stay. I am lucky. Dylan, Arcade Fire, the Stripes...wow) Oct- White Stripes in Chicago on the 6th.
If i had more time and money, and plan things out better, i wouldn't miss: Pitchfork Friday night- GZA doing Liquid Swords and Sonic Youth doing Daydream Nation. Are you kidding me? RATM- Somewhere

Bonnaroo tapped us out. Last summer was my Summer of Music because I thought we would be preggo or trying this summer and tried to get I out of my system. Then we decided to wait, all these great shows pop up, and I am poor and over scheduled with other crap. Virgin in 20 minutes from my house and everyone I know is going, but we'll have to pass. A few friends going up to Lolla... I shall live vicariously through you guys! Do come back with stories and lots of pictures!
Voodoo's lineup is AWESOME!!! Anyone have any idea what tickets normally run?
They will be $100 starting at 9 am tomorrow, but you can get them for $85 presale today and before they go onsale to the general public tomorrrow by using the presale code VOODOO at www.ticketmaster.com
Guarantee vegoose tix will be more than that and the food in Vegas isn't nearly as good as NOLA - esp for the prices!
